As this is a thread for folk to suggest players and it's just a suggestion after all - while the fullback debate rages on I'd take a look at Dion Sanderson On loan at Cardiff from Wolves. Based on the players we've been linked with (outside of Max Aarons) all of the fullbacks we have been linked with have been tall and physical. Think Sanderson meets this and looks like a fine defender - something many have complained about when it comes to our right back situation this season.

Like I said, just a suggestion.

Think Cardiff play today live on Sky if anyone is bored and he is starting (he has played every game for Cardiff since the restart)
Thought he had a solid game again. I'm not sure he's that developed yet - raw. I still think he looks a player though.

No idea if anyone else ran their eye over him for counter point?

Patrick Van Aanholt's contract is up next year, for someone with prem experience he is an upgrade on Davies. Would like to see us go for him as our starting left back with Sess as his backup.
This shows how far we have fallen that players like him, who are decent are actually upgrades to what we have!

Very clumsy and makes a lot of errors per game and gives the ball away and awful lot.

Didn’t mean it as a negative to be fair he reminds me of a young walker but more clumsy?
Could be, I think he is raw, no negative - it's best to be pragmatic. Wolves have some talented youngsters I think.

Wondering if we're still in for McNeil - if we're interested in St.Maximin could be that we'll look to bring in a winger. Would've thought McNeil would be up there on the list.

Maybe because we bought Bergwijn we moved on? Unless we're shifting some of those on we have on the books, i'd love for us to be interested in McNeil, happy to take his man on, comfy with ball at feet. Works hard too.

Good shout.

As has been mentioned already, Sangare is the one we should go for for the DM spot imo. Toulouse got relegated and one of their fan sites thinks he could be allowed to leave for a fee of €10M plus:

Even if it takes €15M we won't find better value than this in the market imo.

Another player whom I think very similar to Bruno Fernandes is Marcel Sabitzer. Both are similar age, similar physique and body structure. Sabitzer is powerful, got pace and technically solid. Can pass the ball even against tight defensive structure, his crossing and long passing ability is also solid. He doesn't got accurate shooting ability though but he is right now twice the player Lamela and Dele Alli ever will be (Two players who are playing in similar position as Sabitzer in our squad). Otherwise, top player. And he is available for 30-40m odds ...

this is a signing I could get behind. Not really the position we should be worried about right now. But should we move on the likes of Lamela or Moura to initiate a rebuild I’d definitely take him.

Gonna a be a player.. RB would rather not sell to Ragnick & Milan bit of bad feeling there.. Lazio as Milinkivic Savic replacement at 25ml can happen.. If Sabitzer wants Milan might be only problem

He would probably be out of our price range with all of the other spaces we need to fill. Eze from QPR would be a great option IMO and is apparently available for 20m.

He has 12 goals and 8 assists this season, improving from 4 goals and 3 assists last season. He has also doubled the amount of successful dribbles and doubled the amount of key passes too.

Here is a comment from QPR manager on him. Sounds like he has the right attitude/mentality to really progress IMO.
"I'm loathe, normally, to talk about individual players but he's a young guy that I knew about going into the job but I've been very impressed,” Warburton told Sky Sports.
“There's been a lot of media focus, quite rightly, for his performances - he's dealt with that really well.
"Last year he had a really hot streak and then tailed off quite significantly. That played on his mind; he knew about that. Again, he's responded this year and he's maintained a level of consistency home and away.
"I honestly believe that he's a top-six Premier League player, all day long. I've watched how he is before games - he just can't wait to go and play.
"He's relaxed, he's looking forward to it. You watch players who are a bag of nerves before games but not Ebs.
"He looks forward to it, responds well to a mistake, he responds well to criticism for a young guy. He gets it."

He can play anywhere across the 3 behind the front man. I think this would be a damn good purchase, and I think we need to bring both Eze with his creative style AND a winger with supreme pace in to give good options for both 4231 and 433.

Yeah he does look insanely talented. I like what Warbuton says about his attitude as for any player coming from the Championship into a potentially top 6 team it is massively important that they don't get the "I've made it" mentality and stop doing the hard work that got them there in the first place. (case in point being David Bentley when he joined us).
