Very unfair on sess new team manager and getting used to it. Think he’ll do well for usNdombele for me. At least he was positive with the ball and looked to move it forward everytime.
Aurier needs to just pack his bags and leave.
Sessegnon has also been a disappointment. Provides no impetus at all on that left flank.
We need a new RB and LB immediately. Thats the priority.
You’re right, we were absolutely averaging 2 points per game (almost definite champions league total across a season) before Mourinho came in. Nothing has changed in the slightest.Levy's plan to change the manager in hope they get a tune out of the squad has backfired.
Time for the cheque book Sir.

He actually wasn't ok. In fact...Pulp Fiction reference... before and after he was gimped for their first goal...he was very far from ok. Any time he was challenging an attacker in the box,...I was screaming, "Don't do it, Juan!" I was glad and relieved he was taken off at HT.Foyth was generally ok apart from his standard monumental fuck up. Sadly, it lead to a goal. Didn’t he get the hoofball Hotspur memo?
I had my heart in my mouth too each time he had a 1v1, but I also had the clarity to note that not once was he beaten in those situations, nor did we concede a cross, nor did he fail to regain possession. He actually wasn't ok. He ain't good for the heart health of any dedicated Spurs fan of advancing years.
Spot on with your assessment of all them except Foyth, which I thought was a bit harsh.Gazzaniga again struggles on a low shot. No fault on second goal.
Aurier was unlucky on the OG, bit dreadful everywhere else. Has VAR to thank after he lost it for the offside goal, atrocious delivery throughout and constantly got behind by Lewis.
Foyth was generally ok apart from his standard monumental fuck up. Sadly, it lead to a goal. Didn’t he get the hoofball Hotspur memo?
Alderweireld seemed heavy footed, didn’t like being run at and never seemed composed today.
Vertonghen looks ready to be put out to pasture.
Sessegnon was functional today but, one cross aside, didn’t overly threaten or create. One dime performance.
Lo Celso was ok, few nice moments but never quite involved enough and not in tune with the pace of the match.
Ndombele grew into the match and was probably our best player in the end with some excellent dictating of the play and instigating of attacks. Needs a DM next to him.
Eriksen is the only player who comes close to Ndombele today, very positive in his play, nice free kick and our most likely player to create anything.
Dele was involved but he didn’t pick his moments well, too many unwarranted tricks and flicks. He was trying to force it today when at times keeping it simple would’ve been best. Off the ball he was fine.
Kane barely had a sniff and he looked tired. Like Dele it just wasn’t happening today, even looked a bit clumsy. Great penalty.
Lucas improved us. His passing was off but his constant running at Norwich kept them on the back foot.
Sanchez added much needed pace and athleticism to our defence, and was our best defender.
Lamela coming on, nicking interceptions and tackles high up, linking our attack better is why we finished the match on top and ultimately equalised.
It's even before the dribble. It's defensive awareness. He lost possession because of his poor first touch. That looked like a lack of concentration, because he's not focused on the basics as a defender. He has the vision as a footballer to advance possession for attacks, but there's not the defensive awareness. We need to be patient with Foyth. He'll learn. I want him to dribble out with the ball, he just needs to pick the right moments to not do it.

Toby was sort of owed that money for playing so well at a discount for the last few years. He could have done a good job at ManU and arsenal if he wanted to stay in the prem.A game where those who have doubts about investment have a stronger case.
Question one: Was Toby worth the contract and the effusive praise or is he in fact in decline and couldn't find anyone else to pay him the money we would?
Question two: Is Jan worth a contract extension or is he another that time is fast catching up with?
Question three: Rose - is he one that Levy should have got out of the club in the summer even on low terms because he is a shadow of the player he once was and is not trusted by Jose?
Question four: Aurier - is he one for the present or future or should Levy have sold him this summer, even with a discount, and gone for a better RB?
Question five: Can Dier come back from 2 years of injury/ sickness? Or is even his champion Jose recognizing that, sadly, he may be a shadow of the player he once was? Is he worth a new contract or is it a question of simply avoiding paying for a replacement?
Question six: Despite his first semi decent game in months, is it worth trying to get Eriksen to sign or is he in fact mentally stale and needs to be in a new club?
Of course this does not even begin to get into the fact that Wanyama is still at the club and our back up keepers or worth peanuts etc.
Unless you are a BSofL it is evident to all, including Jose, that this squad is in need of a massive overhaul. Seem to remember a former manager who had the same thought....
