Season is in the can. We're kidding ourselves if we think we're good enough for top 4.

we definitely ain't good enough at the moment, our passing and commitment to fight for the 2nd ball, or players waiting for a pass to arrive knowing the pace of the pass deserves to be intercepted. we don't look hungry

sorry, I thought it was December not April.

A childs comment - go to bed !
:ROFLMAO:

We couldn't beat bottom team Norwich mate, this squad is toast, you keep clinging on to that slither of hope, I'll watch and up and down team perform like the mid table squad they are.

United look like getting an excellent three points. We could only scrape a draw at bottom team Norwich.
What a shit season this is.

Same old spurs. Never miss a chance to miss a chance. Twice in a week have the chance to get into the top four and blow it with more stupid mistakes.

That spursy tag really isn't ever going to leave us

I'd love to have some confidence that we're not gonna get turned over against Southampton (a team that has lost 9-0 at home this season) but I've got no doubt they'll beat us.

They are terrible at home but with our away form I’d be shocked if we win.

The club just doesn't do expectancy it creates pressure that the players can't live with it's been going on for decades, unfortunately I have given up expecting anything other than disappointment it's what we do best. :)

We're in the last 16 of the CL. FA Cup still to come and Top 4 is far from over for us. Season over? Get a grip, ffs.

Just accept we’re a bit of a basketcase club who provide great entertainment and plenty of laughs along the way. Literally hard to believe some of the shit we do in order to balls things up! It’s never dull is it? Well, apart from the football for most of this year!

As above, still technically in the last 16 FA Cup etc, so plenty to play for. We all know how it’ll unfold of course but maybe, just maybe this year might be different? ?

Just try and enjoy it. That’s one thing that’s been a struggle domestically anyway. Still, we had the run to Madrid so we should count ourselves lucky in a way. We’d have killed for that sort of stuff for nigh on two decades not so long ago

This plus the fact we've played all top 6 sides bar Chelsea away from home already.

That doesn’t mean much unfortunately. Our home form against the top sides is awful over the last year. We’ve not hit the ground running at the new place either

We got Liverpool soon. Going to be a fucking long day I tell you! I’d almost take a 0-2 loss if offered right now. Can genuinely see us shipping 5 or 6 against them given how we are so shit defensively.

Plenty of points to play for.

But if Levy and Jose think it's fine to have another blank window then they are fucking stupid.

It'll be gross negligence again.

We're not going to sign anyone in January, no idea why people continually get their hopes up.

Half a season still to play. Let's not wet the bed just yet. We may or may not improve, but results wise Jose and the Squad have stopped the rot in a short period of time, granted with lots to work on still in performances.

This. At a stretch it's Matic as a stopgap. The summer is where we do our business, and it doesn't matter how many of you start coming out with the "if we don't invest now we won't get top 4 and all our players will leave etc". Personally I don't think we'll get top 4, nobody of note that we want to keep will leave and we'll do some business in the summer and start to rebuild the team as Jose wants it.

Well if not, then it’ll greatly reduce our chances of a top 4 finish. I’m even at the point where I’d take short term signings. It’s not like we’ve got loads of players who are going to be at the club long term. Half of them aren’t good enough assuming we’re going to try and achieve something in the future.

Matic gets mooted, I’d usually say fuck off but considering what we’ve got...not a bad idea really! Any short term fix full backs and centre halves about?
