Christ, football is sooooooo weird. How shit were we today. We have so many problems defensively I wouldn't even know where to start with that, but I'm afraid I finally came to the conclusion today, that sorry to say, Harry Winks is shit. Can't pass the ball forwards FFS and frequently gives the ball away (not just today either).

And Moura just needs to lift his head up so he can see what's happening around him when he's running with the ball. He missed a number of what would have been 'killer passes' today and just ran into blind alleys. Needs to work on that aspect of his game, but he was pants today.

Please God we play Gio Lo Celso from the start on Saturday at Norwich, with Lamela, and Dier now that Winks and Sissoko are suspended.

I know my opinion on Winks won't be a popular one, but there's no point me lying about it. I've been watching him a couple of years now, and he creates nothing, but just holds the play up, which is counter-productive.

Sorry mate, I know you're Spurs through and through and I love you for it, but you're just not good enough, not for me. Very happy with the 3 points today of course, but Christ we made hard work of it.

As bad as we've been this season, we're STILL only 3 points off a Champions League place. I mean, WTF is that all about! (very happy though).

And another absolutely world class goal from Dele today too. Well done boy!!

.
Apart from his ball to Harry who had a goal disallowed for being fractionally offside you mean?

I also think your opinion will be quite popular though. Poor old Winks is the new scape goat..
Well along with Sissoko, Aurier, Lucas, Alli, Dier etc of course

Winks can be a good player when he has someone not Sissoko next to him in a CM2. Especially when Sissoko has to rush out of position to cover Aurier for most of the match, leaving Winks all alone against the entire opposition midfield.

Aurier being a massive defensive weak link and needing Sanchez and/or Sissoko to cover for him at all times massively compromises our entire defense and midfield. If we were set up with a proper 3-4-3 like back when we got 86 league points it might work, but it absolutely doesn't the way we set up now.

Anyway, a very good day of results for us. Shame Newcastle gave Man U the win but hey ho.

Today proves what a terrible result last week really was

Chelsea are very very average
Nah. Chelsea are a very good team when they are given space to do their thing. But teams who are well organized, defend deeply and are quick on the break really trouble them. The way we set up on sunday- little game plan, half hearted in the tackle and continually giving the ball away- played completely into their hands.

Didn’t he play a lovely ball through to Kane for the disallowed goal? He’s not perfect but he has got an eye for a pass and generally does look to play it forward more often than not, imo.

Yes he did, but one good pass doesn't make a good player. Sorry, I just don't think the boy is good enough for THFC and I'm sure we could find a more progressive, aggressive player in his position.

Unfortunately, so are we

Liverpool did to Leicester exactly what Chelsea did to us last week. An absolute master-class. Nobody's going to come close to them this season. One of my mates (a goon) is bricking it because he doesn't want them to go the whole season unbeaten like his precious 'invincibles' did all those years ago with that horrible pair of scumbags Henry and Pires. :poop::poop:

Arsenal play Chelsea next, what we hoping for?

Arsenal decide to relocate to South Woolwich because they suddenly remember that’s where they and their league position belong. Chelsea team can’t find them - so they turn up at an empty Emirates and all buy half and half scarves during an empty stadium tour, (Kepa hangs of the goalposts posing on Instagram just so his friends believed he was there).

The Premier league dock them both points for bloody minded stupidity.

Well Le Arse win obviously. What a chance to stick the boot in the Chav scum and finish the year above them in the Top 4! How's that for your cup final win ****s? As for Le Arse - who cares, they won't even get a Europa Cup spot.

Would really hope chelscum not getting top 4 this season. I will be laughing so hard at them. I will be compiling all the sound bites and clips of fat fucking frank celebrating last week as though he has won the league that disrespectful twat.

He's such an odious toad isn't he? He was giving it big celebrations at Derby too who were just as inconsistent as Chelsea.

Lampard's absolute classlessness comes from being a Chelsea man, the epitome of crass, new money wankerdom.

Well it’s hard to have genuine class when born with the silver spoon. He’s grafted hard to be fair to him, but private schooling, opportunities galore and then ending up as part of that Chelsea side/club as a young man will mean he has a wanker side to him

An interesting table showing our goal scorers over the last few seasons and how players like Dele and Lucas have to contribute this season and get close to double figures if we want to do well (as I’m assuming Harry and sonny will keep firing the goals in). Unless another player steps up we will definitely have to tighten up in defence else I don’t see where the goals will come from.
