Agree - only way i see it carrying on is behind closed doors. We'll see how far they're prepared to stretch the "indefinite" part of indefinitely but there won't be football played for months. The peak of the virus isn't expected until the end of April and with how competently the government has dealt with it so far, there will be no way that a) lockdown procedures will be put in place and b) those procedures will be in place for a long time.
I reckon the next announcement will be that they’ve reluctantly decided to call the season off
With 9 or 10 games to go, they are fast running out of time to get the remainder of the season done.
Tbh if this isn't anything more than a minor distraction to what is going on at the moment, then you need to take a long hard look at yourself.I agree. If they postpone now then fans of certain teams (and pundits) would be howling. The PL will wait till the height of the crisis and cancel it then.
Personally, I wish they would just cancel it now so that everyone can focus on the shit storm we are entering.

That's pretty much one and the same, no?It is imperative that the season is voided as of now for the safety and well being of the country.
And to send Full Kit Wanker Klopp and his cult into meltdown.
Some things are more important than football, lads.
Based on what mate?I’d say that there’s virtually zero chance of the season being called off. They’ll just pick it up when all this blows over (however long that takes), and then delay the start of next season.

Absolutely. Football has very much gone to the back of my mind since this all kicked off. There are simply far more important things going on right now than a bunch of men kicking a ball around.Tbh if this isn't anything more than a minor distraction to what is going on at the moment, then you need to take a long hard look at yourself.
The only people that should actually be concentrating on this are those that do it for a living.

This just opens up another can of worms. Would there be a transfer window mid-season? Teams in with a really good shout of CL like Sheffield United would probably be blown out of the water by Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal.
If not transfer window then there is the issue of out of contract players not being replaced (e.g. Vertonghen).
