The Premier League broadcast selection process for the first week in May has now been completed, with our away fixture against Liverpool moving for live television coverage.

Our trip to Anfield will now take place on Sunday 5 May, kick-off 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, the Premier League has confirmed a new date for our away fixture against Chelsea, which was postponed in February due to the Blues’ participation in the Carabao Cup Final.

We will now visit Stamford Bridge on Thursday 2 May, kick-off 7.30pm, live on Sky Sports.

Let’s hope for a Battle of The Bridge 2 - loved that game. Proper football
Yeah i loved how we threw that game to get involved in a fight too... :cautious:

I will never understand anyone that says they loved that game.

First half we were as in control as we have ever been of a match against Chelsea home or away, second they tried to turn it into a fight, we obliged and promptly lost our heads and the match.

Also, not loving going there 3 days before going to Anfield.

Fantastic atmosphere on the night with some proper tackles and passion. Went toe to toe and didn’t give an inch - We got undone by Hazzard on the night, who was World Class 2nd half (turned up for his only 45mins of the entire friggin season, little ****!)

Go all out for Arse and Chelsea games, reserves against Liverpool!
Makes sense as the goons are on 28/4, that’s if we come out of both of them games without any suspensions or injuries though!

So... that's Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool in the space of 7 days... ??
Reminds me of the Harry Redknapp season when we had a similar run-in, we beat Chelsea and Arsenal at home and then Crouch scored the winner at the Etihad.

I hope this time around we smash Arsenal and Chelsea and lose to Liverpool so Gooners don't win the league but that we end up in CL whether that is via 4th or 5th.

Agree with this, was an epic memorable game, tbh the title was already over, we blew it by losing to West Ham away and drawing with West Brom at home.

We battered Chelsea 1st half, 2nd half Hazard was incredible and then we lost our heads but was fun to see us go down fighting at least, tbh even if we'd kept our heads and won that match no way we'd have won the league anyways so good that we kicked lumps out of them and gouged their eyes out whilst we went down in flames lol.

Away vs Chelsea on the Thursday, and then away to Liverpool on the Sunday - less than 3 days later.

And that comes four days after away at Arsenal.

Edit: obviously at home vs The Arse. And yes, away games in London isn’t the same as travelling to other parts of the country (even though travelling inside London is bloody time consuming as well).

3 of the hardest away games of the season packed in a mere week. The two biggest grudge games against our fiercest rivals.

Must agree with earlier posters: the first two are the important ones. Even though I have mates supporting Liverpool - and they’re all obnoxiously poor winners - I couldn’t care less if they won the Premier League.
Because:
We won’t win (this year);
Arsenal mustn’t win it - that would just be unbearable;
City is just a gang of money doped cheaters on the same level as Lance Armstrong - and shouldn’t be allowed to compete, even less to win..

Even if Arsenal was away, which it isn't, that's two games in London so minimal travel. I actually think we'll benefit from a week like that, because the big gaps between games have left us too cold when the next game comes around. Win v Arsenal at home and the mood will be up going in to Chelsea, who we really should be beating if at our best let's be honest here.

Winning game 1 of the week is a must to set up the rest of the week.
