He could have some mental health issues. There's something just not right about him at all. You used to get players who were all about that party life but this is different. He's just not able to motivate himself and happy to sit home eating junk food. Its pretty tragic really. Not defending him at all but we don't really understand what a person is going through. A football career is relatively short and he's wasting this opportunity of his life. I guess he's set financially for life but will he even know how to make his money last beyond his playing career? I don't even know if he'll play past his contract. He might retire early like Bentley did.

Why is it that everyone when it comes to Ndombele finds those "it could be" when we have had the facts all along every pree season that he is fat and the true issue has been is mentality. You dont act like a Baby like he did at the open traning like he did, that was a true sign of just utter bad mentality and manners. I have been jumped on by every singe Ndombele defender for that not to be true, and now Gala at least comes with the truth about him that even a blind man could see that he was overweight.

Should be able to sue him for beach of the contract in some ways.

Maybe he just likes a good old Big Mac with no underlying issue at all.

He could have mental health issues is not known though which is why I suggested it could be an issue. We've never heard anything from the players side so we don't have all the facts. We only know the what as far as his actions but not the why. Nothing wrong with wondering why he's that way.

It's perfectly reasonable to wonder if there's something going on with him mental-health wise. As his behavior is definitely unprofessional for sure. But I have a hard time completely ruling out the human element.

Sure, I won't cry him a river. But I also won't dismiss this out of hand that he might also be struggling with something internally. (Sorry, but this is a sore topic for me. As I see far too many people's mental health issues get dismissed and overlooked. And also seen the tragic consequences of such actions).

It’s quite sad when you think what he could have been with the natural talent at his disposal

Hands down the worst signing we've ever made. This is exactly why a players personality should be vetted just as thoroughly as their ability.

I can just about handle us signing somebody and they're a bit shit if there's some effort, drive and professionalism. To walk in, not give a fuck, not make any effort to improve, train like shit and sabotage your own career is genuinely pathetic.

Being a footballer clearly isn't his passion but nor is it for a lot of professionals. Benoit Assou-Ekotto famously had zero love for the game but he turned up, ran his arse off and smiled for the cameras, not because it was his dream but because he had some self-respect and wanted to do his best for himself.

It isn't just footballers that this applies to. I've come across lots of people in my professional life who couldn't give a fuck about their job, do as little as possible and wear it like a badge of honor. What these people don't realise is that doing your best (with the occasional off day) in whatever you're doing gives you more satisfaction and self-worth than trying to play the game.

Anyway, rant over. He's living all of our dreams and it's extremely irritating that he hasn't grasped it with both hands because the talents there. One day, when he's older and wiser, he'll look back with nothing but regret.

Arsehole.

Sorry but if you don't think being wealthy means you can't have issues then you're clearly clueless
Correct. It can actually work the opposite way and enable things - Though just as we shouldn't assume he doesn't have mental health issues, it's also dangerous to assume he has.

No, you misinterpreted what I meant I’m saying because he is on 200 K a week he lacks motivation, he clearly has very little interest in football.

Life’s tough, sometimes you have to pull yourself though it, I don’t think that’s his issue I think it’s his lazy!

I’ve seen to many people die young, with mental health problems I’m not saying people shouldn’t becareful .

But I also see a lot of people use and hide behind bullshit!

Sure it could be some mental issue or it could be something as simple as falling out of love with the game, he won’t be the last naturally gifted player to do so. Ether way it’s a waste of talent.

Issue now comes is what on Earth do we do with him. The concern is more about having him hang around the training ground for half a season. No team will go near him, maybe a club from a lower division might take a punt on him but he isn’t going to go. I guess we just have to hope a club in France takes a gamble or we bite the bullet and pay him off.

I just don't see what the money has to do with it is all. Not sure what his issue is and why he lacks motivation.

There's no chance he is anywhere around training with the first team under Ange. If he returns he will stay home now I think.

Seeing as he’s already had the best part of £30m out of us I think financially he’ll survive.
I can’t believe he turned up for training 6k overweight, as a professional how can you do that, it’s insane!
Tanguy v Food on the Food Channel would be an interesting watch…

Think is all those saying just pay his contract off if he is on 200k a week (I've personally always doubted that number given what Kane was on at there time; I think that's 200k including bonus' which he won't have been achieving)
But arguments sake it's 200k that'll be near 3 million pay off which may mean the difference in getting a certain target in January or having to wait until Summer.
I don't know the correct answer as long as he's kept well away from our other squads.
As much I'm sympathetic to mental health issues a part of me is why should we do him many favours?

I do know it's one of the worse examples of player scouting at the club I've seen in a while, we may have had others that didn't work out but at least they weren't phoning it in.

Anyway this taking away from the current positive vibes at the club.

Regardless of this particular player. I hope levy et al have learned from it. It isn't their money I give 2 hoots about. It's the fact that a waste of space like this, prevented spurs from signing player or two who would benefit the team and therefore the fans.

Surely there must be a clause or 2 that would enable spurs to get rid on the basis he doesn't even try?

Anyway. As above, this waste man is the last of the negative era. He won't be able to kill the good vibes at the club now. It's just a shame he obviously doesn't want to get on board with Ange. See ya. Enjoy your riches but you'll never have the riches of fame you could have.

He's hands down the PL's biggest flop.

No comparison.
