He couldnt even be bothered to tackle or foul neto. If he doesnt come good we might struggle to get him of the wage bill with how much we are paying him.

Now we know why jose hasnt been playing him. Probably doesnt trust him.

Play him in the middle instead of Dele, just behind Stevie and Moura. If we can get the ball into his feet in between the lines he could do some real damage.

Fuck that. Thats not what we bought him for, or need. We've got Lo Celso for that. He's just being a lazy bastard now. He either wants to play or he can piss off

This should be a warning to all those people who think spending loadsa money on players guarantees success.

It doesn't.

You need the right players, the right system and time to adapt.

If Taraabt can become an effective DM then there is hope for this guy. Also read an interview with Hoffenheim sporting director the other day that said when Firmino arrived there, his stamina levels were worse than his grandmother's. So ruling Tanguy out now is a bit silly.

I've mentioned it before 200k a week just like Harry Class A.

?

Harry Class A you know the rest :D

With regards to TN, thankfully work ethic is the easiest thing to work on in training. Not sure why he ambles about so nonchalantly but either he steps up or gets shipped out to AC Milan next season like all the other top club rejects.

Well nobody can really defend that from Ndombele it's clear for all to see...Winks tried but couldn't do anything about it.

There's no doubt Ndombele has a massive task ahead of him. I still standby him playing game after game to get match fitness.

Is that correct? Also we wouldn’t pay that. A lot of it will be goals and assist bonus. Seeing as Poch wanted him to score more that would be included.

It was that Deloitte (?) list that was published recentlyish that broke down the wages of all the players at the EPL clubs.

For us the top two (by a big leap in comparison with other players at Spurs) were Harry Class A You Know The Rest, Blud and Ndombele. Both on 200k. But yes, it could have factored on other elements.

Either way, N'dombadboy's ceiling financially speaking is a lot higher than those who arguably are putting in more work.

Arguably.

There is an issue with him for sure. He is a very un Mourinho player. Much like Pogba.

Hmmmm....

For a manager to leave the club record signing out of the first XI in a crucial game like Wolves is worrying. Now we see precisely why - he can't be trusted:
He’s a absolute defensive monster

Make no mistake, this is absoltely appalling from Ndombele.

Embarrassing stuff. Shocking.

No, worse than that. It's an absolute disgrace.

It's March. He's done fuck all. People talk about easing him in with the number 10 position. We're near the end of the season ffs, we don't have time. By the time we "ease him in" the season will be over. We need him putting in 100 per cent not.

He is a professional footballer earning 200k a week and who cost us 55m. And after a few minutes huffs and puffs like that. I'm sorry, but we've been conned here. This guy is a dud. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I have never seen a player act like that. We've had more than our fair share of lazy footballers but that takes the biscuit.

I'm disgusted. If it was any other player in the squad people here would be calling for blood. Why are people giving him free pass???

Thing is, he’s also a very un Poch type player. Could see him in a Redknapp team, but anyone who thinks Poch would have had any time for a player ambling about like this is mistaken.

Makes me think we simply didn’t do much due diligence when scouting him. Need to look at the all round package, not just raw ability.

I thought he was (like LoCelso) a Poch Personal Priority etc ?

I want him to come good I really do.

I was just so struck at the wages break down I saw. It's got to have a big impact on a young guy... and his team mates and big implications for the club if things don't work out.

Chicken/egg scenario. Jose doesn't want to play him, 'cos he is unfit and lacks match sharpness. The best way for him to get back to full fitness and be match sharp, is to play. Which is why I believe he should be given a good run of games to find his feet. Just giving him 60 mins versus Chelsea, and deciding to bench him for playing poorly, is a bit unfair. The whole team, by-and-large played poorly.

It is also odd, that he continues to play players who have been inconsistent or just flat-out bad at times. (Dele, Dier). Yet, takes a little look at NDombele and to a lesser extent, Foyth, and decides they aren't up-to-snuff. In both cases, they need time out on the field to get experience. I feel bad for Foyth in particular... I truly believe, if he hadn't got himself crocked in preseason, he would have been our starting RB at the start of the campaign. Instead, he took a long time to recover and was behind the eight-ball.

I get that NDombele also takes some of the blame here for not properly looking after himself. But from what I see, it's not just a fitness issue now. It's confidence as well. And the latter won't get fixed unless he is allowed to play, and is allowed to learn on the job. It worked with Lo Celso. It took a few games starting for him to get it figured out. NDombele deserves the same in my opinion.

Supposedly he was, but that’s exactly what I mean. Poch was all about intensity and working hard (often over technical ability).

Those going on about in playing as a number 10, I'm sure he did against Southampton in the replay and he was fucking awful.
I don't think a player has ever confused me as much as him, I mean he talent he has is incredible yet he jogs around like hes playing in a kickabout with his mates.

I cannot see Levy paying the transfer fee or wages for Ndombele, and buying him early in July unless Poch santioned / requested the player. At present Ndombele is a great example of why backing the manager with big transfers is as much of a gamble as not backing him at all.
