Aurier can't have helped by yanking him down when he scored the other day!

Regardless of if son is out for a short or long period a club that has just reached a CL final and has been a regular competitor within the competition and top four battles should not be in the situation that we find ourselves.
That our 2 best players getting injured is bad news?

I'm just waiting for him to be hit with a ban for his coronavirus joke the other day.

Hopefully just a 1 game ban like Silva.

The one thing we’ve seen from Jose this season and it’s something Poch failed to do, is utilise his squad and/or promote the youngsters eg Tanganga and also involving Sessegnon. The signings of both Fernandes and Bergwijn give me hope that Son’s injury won’t impact us too much as we’ve enough options to adjust our style and still flourish.

'Barcelona granted permission to sign striker outside window' in Tottenham's case the Premier League has stated 'it is beyond our remit to force Levy to buy a striker'...

That's a bit below the belt Pochittinho didn't have Sessengnon he was injured nor Bergwijn Fernandes. He did use KWP but he didn't take his chances

Yeah, fate has a habit of shitting on the unprepared from a great height.

Indeed. We got away with it last season when Kane was injured. Son stayed fit, we muddled through and secured 4th, just.
But keep on tempting fate and eventually you'll come unstuck.

I can recall that few years ago we've had similar problem with our main 'strikers' Adebayor and Soldado injured (or maybe just being shit, my memory isn't that good) and some random guy from academy decided to step up.

Come on Troy.

Exactly, yet people are making excuses for us not signing a striker in January, let alone at the beginning of the season

So we buy said striker, he barely plays or when he does, he isn't up to the standard people are expecting and once everyone is fit again we have a player that doesn't play and everyone moans about us not being able to get rid of.

They tried to get a deal done on the terms they wanted, it couldn't be done.
Hence a loan. Your premise is based on the person we sign being shit. I'm not suggesting we sign shit players.

We've got three fit forwards, including Parrott. That's ridiculous.

Our luck with injuries this season is ridiculous. Lloris, Kane, Sissoko, Davies, Son - all went though surgeries. On the other hand, just how lucky is Liverpool to have escape all these by playing the same 14 players week in and out.
