Amazingly unprofessional. Especially knowing that he alone is almost our best chance of getting top 4. He's clearly had a moment of madness and it's out of character, but a big apology and performance on weds is needed

IMOSon's red card was worse than Foyth's. There was no need for it at all and he's a senior player with bags of experience. Foyth's was a daft challenge that the opponent saw coming and made a proper meal of it. There was very little contact. Bournemouth started milking everything after the Dier incidents and Pawson couldn't wait to give them something (and Son should have spotted that).

Why not?

Some times circling the wagons is justified.

Pawson should have sent Dier off but bottled it - what happens after is pathetic.

I don't often 'pull a RAWK' but todays result is by and large the result of yet anothe shit ref being shit at his job as a whole.

Happy to discuss the chances in the first 30 - but Sonny missed on of his.

Should have been out of sight in the first 25 mins, its not the first time we have shown a lack of making chances count.

How the fuck was it worse that Foyth's when we were already a man down because of a sending off?

Foyth knew he was fresh legs, knew we were down a man and still went in with his fucking studs showing. That makes it worse than a push IMO, even though Son's a silly **** too for raising his hands.

Yup don't disagree with this at all, footballing terms it should have been a cake walk.

Pochs words about mental fragility and then the follow up with his words and the message when talking about Messi, yet here we are 48 hours later or so and bish bash bosh.

It was never a red. It was a yellow at best. Dier's stupidity put pressure on Pawson to compensate for his earlier non-call. I really hope we appeal and try to get it rescinded, because without Son, we have no chance of scoring anything against Everton next week.

Frankly, he doesn’t deserve ‘fair’. It’s not as if he was being kicked or being stamped on or being given any reason to react. In a game we were controlling, and one lacking in any animosity, he inexplicably lost his temper, you could see the rage on his face, and in doing so changed the game completely.

He has been better than not, but if someone lives a squeaky clean life, does loads of charity work, reads to underprivileged children, but then beats someone e to death, he’s still a murderer.

We all praise Son deservedly for all the good he does, he deserves vilification for his, and our, worst moment of the season.

Please see above.

Rewatch it on match of the day tonight. The guy he pushes over punches him on the back and treads/stamps on his foot.

and did this (2nd gif) nice raised elbow bodycheck.... .no card, not even a foul..referee is horrific and has been horrific for years, same ref that sent Vardy off for nothing, google him... terrible ref

And Son does not push him in the face either.. .

Stop blaming the ref. Dier should have been sent off earlier and Sons red card was correct. Blame Son and Foyth instead.

I think if someone punched you in the back you might react almost as a reflex I give Son a pass to be fair. I think VAR sends them both off.. Foyth to be honest has a reckless streak needs to fix that if he wants to be a top player!

It's hardly a punch and those things happen off the ball all game, he's a seasoned pro. He's captained his country at major tournaments. He's not getting a pass when he should be one of the leaders on the pitch for us. Think the club have been incredible to Son and he needs to show up big time on Wednesday

What am I missing here? How is pushing someone in the chest a red card? Or am I not seeing the correct incident?

Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made.
