2yrs of non-stop football, 2 tournaments for country in 3 months, was on the verge of military service, having to replace Kane... all with no real break. I know how I feel with no break for 6 months.

2yrs of no rest probably came to a head for him. We have been able to rely on him and anyone that says we haven't been able to should trade their spurs shirt for an arsenal one.

Ref was a joke too. Lerna would fall over in a breeze

Blaming the ref does seem a bit funny considering the shit we got away with in the first 30mins. Ofc in a perfect world Lerma gets pulled for it, but Son should have reacted to it.

Amazingly unprofessional. Especially knowing that he alone is almost our best chance of getting top 4. He's clearly had a moment of madness and it's out of character, but a big apology and performance on weds is needed

utter bollocks.

Not according to the rules spammer. The rules are very clear, and it's an obvious red card offence. Wheter you or me thinks rules are utter bollocks is not relevant.

Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force when not challenging for the ball. Using excessive force is when a player exceeds the necessary use of force of an opponent and must be sent off.

This includes pushing. So yeah..

Off balance at an angle eh?

Pawson couldn't wait to get the card out, yet didn't deal with what was happening 5, 10 seconds before.

Lap it up though, Spurs lost, feels good, don't it?

Thats a bit harsh just cause some people believe we are in this mess due to our own shite form rather than one ref desiscion doesnt mean were enjoying it. I just dont wanna sound like a Liverpool fan blaming every other **** I can.

No, it feels terrible that we lost. And even if Pawson had seen what Lerma did, Son would have been sent off anyway. Yeah, maybe Lerma would have been sent off aswell. But in the end, there's no excuse for what Son did. Oh well, lets move then.

Why not?

Some times circling the wagons is justified.

Pawson should have sent Dier off but bottled it - what happens after is pathetic.

I don't often 'pull a RAWK' but todays result is by and large the result of yet anothe shit ref being shit at his job as a whole.

Happy to discuss the chances in the first 30 - but Sonny missed on of his.

I won't even begin to call Son an idiot for doing what he did. Clearly he was provoked and in the heat of a game with so much at stake, even the calmest of players can lose it in that split second. We all know what kind of a player Son is. But they are humans after all.

Easy for us fans to call out players silly or stupid when they are in a game mode mental state while we are not. Hindsight, they will reflect and admit it was silly thing to do. But it was not as if it was a premeditated move. It was reactionary and even then it was a push rather than a slap or punch to the face.

He has saved us on so many occasions this season. Perhaps this will motivate him to make amends on Wed and put in a stormer of a performance. Unlucky Son.
