Can't believe we replaced Walker with this clown. Decision made worse considering we could have had Ricardo Perriera.

Honestly, some of the crap that has passed through us in recent years. Our scouts must have shit in their eyes or something.

Aurier is unsalvageable.

Would love to see Mourinho flip his current tactic and have Foyth sit back a la Vertonghen and Sessegnon play the advanced Aurier role on the left. I know Mourinho said he doesn’t think Sess is a PL level fullback yet, but you can’t tell me he’s not more reliable than Aurier. Give him the same protection Aurier currently gets and he’ll be more than fine.

Was part of the good defence in that massively improving team which almost qualified for CL in Jol's first season...? Ledley, Naybet, Stalteri and someone else. We're further away RN from top 4 than that team finished. Ledley invited him back for his testimonial. Aurier will never create memories as good as those.

One poor game from Aurier when literally every fucker bar Sanchez played badly and the knives are back out. He’s been mostly excellent so far under Jose.

I find it really fucking bizarre how some of you are almost willing him to have a bad game so you can lob abuse at him. Fuck off. At least cookiemonster doesn’t hide the fact he’s a blatant racist.

Pep destroyed us with that purchase - bit like his approach with Bayern.

he is a defender who cannot defend. Get rid of him and either:
1. play Foyth with Sessegnon at LB charging fwd
2. play KWP and let him charge forward

Mostly excellent? Really??

I think he's got forward well under Jose's instructions it appears, he's put in a couple of decent crosses (among a load of crap ones). But defensively he's pretty much been a disaster. Not tracking runners, rash challenges, lapses in concentration. How many mistakes do you let someone have?

Defensively he is a weakness and right now teams are targeting our RB position.

Even the Gazzaniga fuck up was Alonso blazing past Aurier. He's so fucking lazy its unbelievable.

If Aurier is the answer we are asking the wrong question/s. Only average best going forward and lacking sufficient concentration to be a defender at this level. No wonder PSG we’re happy to sell.

Aurier is really inconsistent and extreme

When he is bad he is BAD...when he is good he looks amazing

Would just play KWP for better or worse and sell KWP

Wont play Foyth as RB cause I think we need Foyth more urgently at DM or CB

Utter revisionism

He's crap, just accept it. He's had some OK games, but he's a complete liability and is simply not good enough if we wish to push on.

Also don't pull the race card.

How is it possible we signed a defender who can’t defend?

Who scouted him?

It smacks of stupidity and laziness.

Opportunism.

Levy got a call from PSG saying they can have a 50M player for 25M so he signed him.

That's how we roll in the transfer market.

Sarge, I like you and your forthrightness but your defending a guy who mentally shut off after 12 mins yesterday, at home, against Chelsea of all teams and not to mention his multiple lapses throughout his time here.

Aurier does possess talent but he's absolutely not one you can trust season in, season out and ultimately that means only one thing...

As a history fan, I've long wanted to be a revisionist in one field or another. If you check, I never went quite so far as saying he was good. But Aurier isn't good either.

Stalteri was crap, Serge is slightly better but still crap, no need to re-write history to try and force home a point.

In theory I agree with you, but in practice I just said he was part of a good defence, which finished closer to 4th than we are now, and that he then got invited back for Ledley's testimonial. Carefully avoiding judgement on his quality because I cannot remember anything from 2005.
