Have we actually got our loans right this year? Sessegnon and Skipp both doing well and at the very least Parrott seems like he will get a proper chance to prove himself at Millwall.

We're top of the table so I'd say yes.
Edit.
Think I misunderstood your post. Yeah we've done a good job on the loans front.

Glad to see Sess doing well and it seems to be at LB. I've always preferred him defensively as I just don't think he has the necessary skills in attack. I also think it's easier to coach him to be a defender and work in a system than it is to develop the necessary attacking skills to become a good winger. Plus he has grown up playing at LB so it will be easier to coach him there than attack. The issue people have had with him in defence is he looks timid and I think that's a confidence thing. If he comes back from the loan with confidence and the trust of JM he could be better in attack than Reguilon but a slightly worse defender.

It's like Danny Rose a decent winger can look good in the Championship but will look out of his depth in the Prem, so you need to figure something else out, and I think putting him back to his natural position and just coaching him could help. I don't even see Saka as a great winger, I see him as a LWB but I still see him as a better winger, than Sess around the box and I see Sess as a slightly better defender.

If he fulfils his early hype as a LB we'll have a great player, and there would be less concern if Reguilon does return

If he was a LB in his youth you'd think he would look more comfortable now. He really only comes alive near the box. As a wingback he gets more opportunities to do that but as a lb he is so cautious I can't believe he'll make it in the prem.

Sadly, having watched his last 8 games, getting POTM in this team isn't a big deal. They really are very laboured.

You don't believe he'll make it as a LB or regardless of his position?

It could be that he is using this year to relearn the defensive and positional side of his game at lb, in which case he's doing really well. He is very slow to get forward as a result. He also.never takes his oppo on and is reluctant to cross unless he makes it to the byline.

As a winger he is clever, aggressive and almost plays on the shoulder. He needs to show he can marry the 2 if he is to develop into an international full back.

@IGSpur has seen him play lb in his youth. Has he got that ability to marry defence and attack?

Out-jumped at the back stick for Augsburg's goal in a 3-1 victory for Hoffenheim this evening. Only taken that from short highlights though.

I watched the game and he actually played really well. Some very good deep crosses and intelligent runs. He got out muscled for the goal but didn't let it happen again. Very encouraging but he still refuses to run with the ball unless he can cut inside.

Looks more aggressive in his defensive play, which is great, but probably needs a bit more tenacity to play LB for us in the prem, as the post above alludes. Early days and seems to be making some good progress

As a squad player next season I think Sessegnon is a much better like for like replacement for Reguillon than Davies is. He also could be very effective playing in the hard working, defensive winger role that Bergwijn seems to be playing.

Can't see anything wrong in the clip. It only showed that he was smart enough to pass to a better placed teammate than carrying the ball up himself as it would have saved at least 3 to 5 seconds.
