That VAR decision was scandalous. You could never, ever, convince me that there can be any sort of conviction in that decision being right, so how you can overturn the decision on the pitch is just absurd to me. Also feel just as bad for Skipp because that pass was *chefs kiss*

That offside decision was utter bollocks.
I really don't see VAR as being right for these types of decisions.

The old "advantage to the attacker' has been totally destroyed and you have these nonsense "offside by his armpit" calls that ruin the game

They should amend it to the back foot of the attacker being at least in line with the foot of the defender that's closest to goal - it would allow for the old "clear daylight" type advantage they tried to encourage

Richarlison have started 8 games at home this season (all competitions). 8 wins.

While he’s not been getting enough G/A, he does a lot of good things for the team.

Edit: After watching the highlights this get further noticeable. Richy is the one who starts the move for the first goal with a great half volley pass into Kulu. He's the one who plays a one two with Skipp and then lays it off to Hojbjerg who hits the post. He also wins the corner for the 2nd goal.
That’s now 9 home games and 9 wins for Richy.

Involved in the first goal on the right hand side, won the penalty for the second and assisted the third.

Another disgraceful decision by VAR.
Yes they need a new ruling on offsides. The old system 'If the forward is level with the defender he's onside' was vastly preferable. The stopping of the game to assess whether the forward's fingernail was ahead of the defenders kiss curl
is egg-head technology gone mad.
If they are generally level, the forward is not offside. Take VAR off offside decisions altogether and give them back to the officials on the field.

Such a shame his goal was struck off by a ludicrous VAR decision. Players will be shaving their pubes off at this rate.

Isn't this sort thing still down to human error? Don't they decide where to draw the lines? It never looked convincing to me when they just show 2 lines next to each other and we should just accept they have them right. It felt like the one in the CL too, only a bit less time to decide this one. It's making a mockery of the offside rule and why it was brought in to begin with.

Feel for Richarlison, another goal ruled out like his one against Fulham. He played well though and this was his best display on the right side to date. If he keeps starting the goal will come and then they will probably flow after.

Love his character, and the fact that he never lets decisions like that affect his game. Had a goal harshly ruled out, and then went on to put in a MOTM display. Similar thing happend for him against Arsenal for Everton last season, had 2 goals disallowed for offside, and still keeps his head up and finally gets on the scoresheet.

His assist for Son gets better every time I see it. A lovely floated pass.

He is so strange though. Sometimes his first touch is awful and like a pass.

And should have had a goal himself. He was really impressive on Saturday and worked his socks off.

If son was in any form at all I’d say shut up and get on with it, but he’s watching the same as us and saying what we’re all saying.
Then there’s danjuma who must be bewildered.
I'll say the same as I've said all along with Spence if you are moving clubs you make sure you or more likely your representatives speak to the manager and ask them where they see you fitting in. It's completely amateur not to.

The whole sequence sums him up perfectly. First, he fails to play the simple pass to Kane and instead makes a rather poor attempt at getting the ball to Son, then he gets another chance and suddenly executes a much more difficult cross with perfection. He makes zero sense. And I love it! (Most of the time.)

Yeah I thought that. Few times he touched soooo hesvy and lost it when the counter was on and few times it looked incredible.
It’s the same with his pace, he can look incredibly slow and then sometimes he gets away.

I do feel we need a truly pacey forward in there.
