If son was in any form at all I’d say shut up and get on with it, but he’s watching the same as us and saying what we’re all saying.
Then there’s danjuma who must be bewildered.

What he says is spot on. We’d found a winning line up with the2 games against WH and Chelsea which had given us momentum and then we decided to bin it for the next 3 games and our season is over. Makes no sense and it must be especially frustrating for him.

And even though he didn't score, his industry was a big part of those wins and a big improvement on Son. I can absolutely see why he was pissed off - Son's only looked good off the bench all season yet he still keeps being brought back into the side while Rich has been shunted out to the right and given only 2 successive starts on his preffered side.

It’s surprising to hear a player speak like this. I’m not sure how wise it is for him, but good on him.
Whilst he hasn’t really justified his price tag yet, I think he should have been given more minutes this season, even if it’s more to do with the poor showing from Son.

It's not good at any time obviously but the way Son has been playing this season...yeah, I'd have probably snapped way sooner.

Richarlison thinks it ridiculous he’s not playing and our style of play is too defensive.

Mason and Kane think Conte is bananas for brining on Sanchez when we needed to throw the kitchen sink to win the game.

Just go Conte.

But back to Richy, he showed in the World Cup and also for Everton what a class player he is if you play to his strengths and give him game time and confidence, that is not happening right now, if/when it does with a new manager in a more positive system and style I’m sure we will see how good he can be.

It is hard being a footballer and being on the bench all the time , ESPECIALLY when the players in front of you aren’t playing well and the team is lacking attacking impetus.

He’s signed for £60mil , he’s buzzing to be playing for us and playing CL footy and we’ve never given him a long enough run of games in a system that suits him.

He is no better or worse than G.Jesus imo but because arsenal have said you’re out main man n.o9 in a pressing forward role he’s looked confident and class, Richy would be just the same if we did they for him.

I can't help but think it's more likely when a player believes the manager won't be around much longer.

Need him to be the main striker next season if Kane leaves or preferably one of several who can compete for the starting spot. Can't see him reaching his potential if he doesn't get a good run in the team though. How many players have we wasted this way over the years?

I really think he'd be an ideal Pochettino Striker. We saw what he did with Kane and with what's-his-face at Southampton.

He's also determined to get off the mark. He stated that he knows he cost so much and hasn't given enough yet

That must be driving him crazy. He wants to prove his worth.

3 games isn't gonna cut it

In the full quotes he also openly admits he’s been poor but he says he is still leaving everything out there which is the exact sort of player we need at the moment

Sonny and Kulu need to be dropped for a bit. Need to train their way back in. Richy and Porro can do the wing work for now, and Danjuma to spice it up. I was a bit shocked to see his comments today, but I don’t really blame him. At least he’s honest, must be the only one at the club who is.

He talked the talk and walked the walk. He even spent too much time on the wide right side where he isn't great but managed couple of great crosses. Still not played in his best position enough but when he is motivated I guess it doesn't matter.

Who said he couldnt play as a RWF? He was brilliant today. The guy gives it his all and if it wasnt for a dodgy VAR call he would have been on the scoresheet.

First encouraging performance I think he's had on the right. So unfortunate with the goal, was a fantastic finish but also reminded us of how could he can be when he is in front of goal. We just rarely create these types of chances for our forwards.

He's been really unfortunate this season. He has missed a few sites but he's also had a few moments of brilliance that didn't get the reward.

His goal today and when he hit the post with that half-volley just to start with.
