Just proves many fans know sweet fa about players they don’t watch regularly

No disrespect to Southampton but he's probably gone up a level for us now that he's surrounded by quality players and a very successful manager. In one of his interviews, he said that he's the type of player who will look to make others around him better and it looks like he's gotten better as well.

Can't wait for Pierre to score one of his rare trademarked screamers for us. Going to be a beautiful sight.

My heart twitched a bit when he went down injured and I saw Winksy warming up.

Every Spurs fan when he went down and then got back up

He gave away the ball a couple of times after that incident. I started to wonder if he was playing through the pain a bit. Fingers crossed he's ok, we really dont have anyone who can do what he does.

Signing of the summer by ANY club.

I'll hold my hands up and admit I didn't realise how good he was when we signed him. I thought he was just a solid player, when in fact he could turn out to be a superstar.

I wonder if we have a recall clause for Skippy, for me a better like for like replacement.

Yep definitely. He’s jumped up a level from the player I saw at Southampton where ward prowse looked the better player. Mind you, I wouldn’t mind us raising Southampton for him either!

Apart from his set pieces, he is much worse in every possible thing Winks is hated here, so that would be very funny

He would have benefitted from learning from Hojbjerg this season, and would have almost certainly started some EL games. It's a shame that he finally gets a good loan but it's in the season where he could be most useful to us.

Man is a warrior. Love him! He was yelling out instructions the whole game, could see him calming everyone down towards the end when Brighton were pushing for a goal.

Yeah he's fast becoming one of our most important players. Kudos to him and to our scouting team.

He'll learn more from playing every week at this stage of his career.
