in this system, this lad makes such a difference. his athleticism is unreal.
Elite physical attributes can often be far more important that technical ones, especially in the premier league. If you have height, pace, power, balance and stamina, with very average footballing ability, you're likely gonna be a very good player, luckily, Sarr has all the physical ability, very good technical ability and seems to have great intelligence too as he has that knack of knowing where to be at the right time both going forward and defending.

Genuinely could be the next Yaya Toure, world class potential.

We have a superstar on our hands. Proper box-to-box midfielder. The kid has 'it'. Wonderful delivery for Maddison's goal.

It’s a toss up for me as to who will be the best player in 5-7 years out of him, udogie and van de ven. They’re all top 2 or so in their position in their age group and my word are they all so, so good.

Sarr in particular has become my favorite player to watch. The kid literally has it all. He is everywhere, he wins the ball back with ease, he’s a great carrier, he can play any kind of pass you want him too, and he’s got a shot on him too. He will be as good as he wants to be.

He's also the type of player that makes the entire team look better. Reminds me a little of Wijnaldum in that sense except I think Sarr has a larger skillset

Tldr - saliba could be registered as he's an EU national and entitled to work in UK, Sarr isn't as he's Senegalese.

I'm still not convinced as if he hadn't been sent on loan, he would still be entitled to work here (unless we would have to apply for work permit and didnt)

Rotten news. This will have an effect on who we target this summer you’d imagine. Reckon why we’ve seen renewed news last few days looking at Tosin on a free for our 4th CB. We’ll have to bring in one or two HG with our summer targets.

It's annoying but not a disaster - we would most likely have been looking for one or two HG players anyway - Archie Gray is clearly on the radar as is Tosin and Kelly.

I still think shifting Skipp and bringing back KWP would be wise. Can play at both LB and RB and comfortable on the ball inside and inverted. KWP only has a year left too. Obviously Homegrown and Club-Trained.

Assuming we get rid of ndombele, reguilon, hojbjerg and gil and keep werner we have space for one more non HG. Consideration could also be given to sell GLC (1 yr left and injury prone) and Solomon (jury still out and injury prone)

That's a shame, but we'll deal with it. He wouldn't have been HG in Europe either way, and we would've had to plan for that in any case.

GLC is definitely leaving in the summer imo - N'dombele and Reguilon will get loans (unless their contracts end). Gil and Hojberg will both be sold if we can get deals done. I reckon Solomon gets a loan but could easily be sold.

I'd assume the club were already aware of this and this was just confirmation one way or the other for us fans?

You would still think this all depends on if we applied for a work permit for him when we bought him and only the club would know whether they did or not
