Rotten news. This will have an effect on who we target this summer you’d imagine. Reckon why we’ve seen renewed news last few days looking at Tosin on a free for our 4th CB. We’ll have to bring in one or two HG with our summer targets.

Not sure Tosin will really help much - given that we are bloated in the non-club trained list.

We already have Forster, Davies, Maddison and Johnson - excluding Sess and Ashley Phillips. So Tosin really only fits as a Davies replacement.

That's a shame, but we'll deal with it. He wouldn't have been HG in Europe either way, and we would've had to plan for that in any case.

I agree - a shame but not a huge deal. Being HG for Premier League purposes but not UEFA only helps so much. We should build our squad to be in Europe every year which to me means aiming to comply with the stricter of the two HG rules, which is UEFA. What we'll struggle with next year and maybe the next few years is the club-trained portion of UEFA HG rules, which means we really need to work on getting some youth to progress into the squad. For Sarr, it's a shame, but not a disaster.
