Didn't he say Poch was done?
Nah I'm pretty sure he always quoted the psg directors saying poch is happy at psg. He may have said spurs are interested. I may not be remembering correctly but I don't think he ever said it was close/done

I would say get Jerome Boateng for a free on a 2+1. I cannot understand how no club have snaped him up after his superb last season.

To have Boateng, Tomiyasu and Romero raplace Sanchez, Dier and Toby. They are all 3 used to play in a back 3 aswell.

It would also give us 1-2years to see Rodon and Tangangas progression without blocking their path long term
I read somewhere that Boateng wants top tier club only. So we may have to wait until no better options comes his way

What’s up Spurs. Do you know who we get? We got a defender who outplayed: Skriniar, De Vrij, De Light, Bonucci, Chiellini, Romagnoli, Koulibaly in serie A by having the highest rating among all serie A defenders + best defender.

Dias, Varane, Ramos, Alaba, Marquinhos, many more in CL by having the highest rating in Champions league among all of them with the rating of 7.67 (and taking Atalanta to their highest position in their CL history).

Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Yerry Mina, Godin, and his fellow Spurs Davinson Sanchez in Copa America by being named in the team of the tournament + a winning trophy.

This is one sexy post.

I honestly can’t get excited about a player (who I had never heard of before), until we have bought at least one more to play beside him. He would need to be a magician to fix that shambles by himself! Maybe Nuno will be able to sort that.

Watched some youtube videos and have to admit i'm impressed by how many one on one tackles he wins and how clean his tackles are. I know you can't judge by youtube but it's all i have to judge on at the moment.

I think we could use an aggressive CB.

Edit: how is this rated wtf lol
It's sometimes fat fingers when people are scrolling on the right hand side of a mobile/tablet they are also pressing a response icon which unfortunately can be a WTF but even worse a Dislike or Spam. They don't even realise they are doing it and I've been victim to it a few times and accidentally sent some.
I have suggested to @Rob that instead of having them positive/neutral/negative they are reversed and run from negative, neutral to positive.
That way if someone does unintentionally send a fat finger response it will be a like or agree which looks so much better and causes no confusion as to why it was given.
Hope something can be done, meanwhile I constantly check for what responses I have issued on my profile and amend by deleting unintentional ones.

When you have someone of the calibre of this guy joining the club after we have had a relatively inauspicious (another new word !) season then it speaks volumes for Fabio's skills and the way in which he is 'selling' the future of this football club. Romero's decision will have been watched closely by many players currently in Europe who are considering a move to the Premier league and will have done nothing but enhance the attraction of being part of this Spurs rebuild.

I am sure it will have gone a long way in smoothing forthcoming negotiations and ensuring his and the manager's plans for the future are materialised.

One thing that will really please me when Romero signs is I will finally stop having to figuring out which ‘Rom’ is being referred to.

On one hand we have had the player, Cristian Romero.
Then we have our great community teammate Romario.
Lastly, we have the journo Fabrizio Romano.

When Romario quotes Romano in the Romero thread it takes me 15 minutes to figure out who the heck is who :D

You’re correct; I nearly gave you a spam rating for that.
