Juve gave Ramsey £400k a week and Rabiot £220k a week, Eriksen will be able to command something similar because he is a free agent. Due to his high profile he'll be able to dictate where he moves to and for how much.

I can see him going to Juve. I think Madrid is off the table though.

Mate he ain't signing for Madrid or Juve - so he's not exactly dictating where/how much. He's not good enough. I can see United or maybe an Athletico Madrid picking him up though.

Ha we will see, it's an attractive gamble for many clubs, he's still a class player who still has a high profile, don't let the last year of inconsistent form fool you, his head has gone because he doesn't want to be at Spurs anymore, once he get his move he will play up to his level, there's gonna be a queue of clubs waiting for him just like there was for Rabiot who didn't play for half a season before he moved to Juve.

I have hitherto refrained from saying anything about him, but yesterday was the last straw. Never made a pass over 10 yards and in fact created at least 5 turnovers under hitting his passes, and one of those led to a goal against us. Don't ever want to see him again.

Eriksen shouldn't be anywhere near the team that I agree... not because his a bad player more his commitment.

Given he’s on mediocre wages in comparison to Kane and co, and with his contract dwindling down... why can’t we terminate his contract? We’ll have to pay it up but it’s not exactly big in footballing terms. That way we get shot of a disinterested and grossly out of form player and allow the squad to settle down and get on with their job without any unnecessary distractions.

Sets a terrible precedent for players that, get to the final year of their contract, down tools and get a nice cushty pay off, fuck that.

You can’t win either way it seems , performance on the pitch ain’t good enough , you sign him off like Ozil . You do what Pochettino is trying to do and keep him involved until Lo Celso gets up to speed. It’s a mess.

He should't be playing full stop regardless of Lo Celso's situation, we used to be able to fall back on Eriksen's contribution in matches and his key passes or assists, he's not even doing that, he's just not providing anything on the pitch anymore.

Poch can win by picking Lucas, Lamela, Ndombele and eventually Lo Celso in his position(s), there's no excuse now he has the players so why is he still playing him?

It’s frustrating certain players have really down tools Poch really has nothing to lose dropping the senior contact rebels I hope he can adjust.

I think if Lamela was fit Eriksen doesn’t play ., Son Moura Kane hasn’t really worked they get in each other’s way.

Imo Ndombele wasn’t ready fitness wise for that pace of game.

If we still have a contract offer on the table for him it should be withdrawn immediately. You can’t play shut for ages and get rewarded with a bumper pay rise.

Just shocking to see him play nowadays. This cant be helping him to get a contract with one of the big clubs. Who would want a player who switches off like that? And who fails to step up in the games where his team really needs him.

Just want him gone. Used to be a good player for us. Could have become a legend. That wont be the case now.

If your not going to play him, and your willing to pay him off, why not let him rot in the stands, or better as an unused sub, I did the stadium tour last week and we were told all unused subs must do a 90 minute work out after every game.... That would piss him right off.

I was watching the match with my boy yesterday whos 10, and I was trying to explain the Eriksen situation as he couldn't get his head round the free transfer issue.

So I said that he is on approx £70k with us, we offered him approx £150k 18 months ago, but because he is a free transfer he could command a big signing on fee...etc etc etc.

He got my phone, went on the calculator and worked out what he had been missing out on, it cam e to approx £6m over the 18 months. He called him a very greedy man and it's not nice not letting Us (Spurs) get money for him in a transfer.

Kids are so astute

The majority of top clubs who can pay him what he wants I suspect.

Eriksen on a free is a great business move, an attractive gamble because there's no fee attached to him.
Agree with this. He may not be currently showing it but he is a good player.
And he's not exactly a Rabiot, who had plenty of takers, even with his crazy personality and entourage.

but not to dictate play in the starting XI for an elite club, which is what he thinks he can do.

I won't forget the part he's played, over the longer term, but inevitably like many find that harder with every performance he puts in like Sunday's. In fact, I now don't want to re-sign him on 150k pw, even if he was to change his mind in the face of limited interest from elite clubs this Jan or even in the summer.

But more fool the Head Coach for picking him, especially in that role- Skipp could have done that job with fire in his belly and would have been able to easily equal Eriksen's half a dozen awful "passes" which simply started another wave of Scouse attacks.

The plain fact is that he doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the match day squad at the moment. Given that he's strung us along with the comments about signing a contract if he didn't get a big move in the summer, I'd sideline him for the forseeable future and hope he fucks off in January. Why the fuck Poch keeps picking him is totally beyond me.
