Great debut. Think he can become important from the bench and when Kane is resting. I really hope he get his first goal early. Both Soldado and Janssen quickly lost confidence when they didn't score.

Watching the highlights he played even better than I thought. With the talent in behind him the most important thing is that he can bring others in to play which he proved he can.

I'm sure when he's had more game time he'll ti.e his runs better, but considering he's not been here that long and doesn't speak much English, he did well and at least he was making those runs and showing clever movement.

He may have got 2 assists, but could have had 3 more, which is a fact that has been missed by some people i.e. Lamela's chance in the first half and second half and of course Alli's attempt. He was even involved with the Son's first attempt at goal, that was blasted over.

His was constantly pointing to where he wanted the ball played and making good runs, but we didn't get the ball to him anywhere near enough. I felt sorry for him in that respect, but the team will get used to him. If Ndombele, Lo Celso or Kane had started, I think he would have had more chances, because of their vision.

He offers us everything we have needed in a second striker and now he has to prove it against Premier League opposition and start scoring. I was very impressed and encouraged by his performance, not getting carried away, but it's a promising start.

Really a very very impressive debut, Jose said that he can "do better" which suggests to me that we have a gem on our hands, he also said that he can play alongside Kane as well.

He should have got a hat trick of assists if Dele and Lamela finished their chances.

Think we're gonna be seeing a lot more of this guy than we think.

Great debut and what the video doesn’t show is the number of great runs he made that were ignored by the other players. Once he and the rest of the squad establish a connection and are on the same wavelength I think there will be plenty of goals to go along with his obvious talents for setting up others.

His involvement with the ball was ok. I remember one pass he left ridiculously short for somebody on the edge of the box. Made some good runs and got into some good positions (Bergwijn should have squared to him). He was far from our worst player today.

I actually believe had he come out for the second half the game would have turned out different.

HT subs should have been Son for Bergwijn and Lucas for Dele. Pushing Bale inside.

That's all that was needed. 4 was overkill imo.

Jose has talked Carlos up and said how he can play with Kane as opposed to instead of him, and when he gets a golden chance to play both together in a game we could have got something from he decides against it. It was really fucking odd.

Agree with this. He was knocking the ball down for others and bringing them into play.
We can't know for sure, but if he had the likes if Lucas and Son making runs,it would have been better. I would have also like to have seen him play alongside Kane.

Didn’t have a great 45 but I don’t think he was as bad as jenas was making out. He was brought in to give Kane a rest so bringing him on does that.

I like him though and im sure he will come good but just looked super frustrated and im sure it doesnt help that he comes in and out of the team etc... you do though expect more against the kind of opposition we faced tonight

Off the ball stuff was fine, few decent involvement including the build up to goal number 3, but the early miss seemed to knock him as after that he seemed to avoid being open.

I like him but he needs a goal sooner rather than later to get him confident. Still, it’s only been a combined two matches of football so far.

He's still getting used to his teammates and role ffs.

Why do people always need to over analyse players all the time? Or pick up on tiny details all the time.

Same as Bergwijn, people saying they're not impressed despite the massive disruptions he's had.
