Not sure if it's already been discussed on here but could the Coutinho loan actually be tied in with a deal for Eriksen to Barca (either for now or for next season) - for example; we take Coutinho on loan but at a considerably lower loan fee but with a view to either swapping or selling CE next season to Barca who get first call??

Eriksen is a free agent next summer so there'd be nothing for us to swap.

Well my thinking was, as a player to be signed outright, perhaps Barca aren't interested at the moment.
BUT as a swap deal where they might have more bargaining power - he might seem quite desirable.
