I've always found him to be an incredibly overrated player. Barca should have gone for Eriksen over him originally, he fits their style so much better.
I think he's a really good player but not this world class #10 that he is made out to be. The long shots propped him up in everyones mind and he's not near the passer that Eriksen is.Agree with both points, I do think Coutinho is overrated but I do think he'd do well with us especially with Winks/Ndombele behind him.
Being lazy, but could someone explain how Coutinho is an ex-Poch player?
A different style of player, less metronomic but more magic int he final third to take it past a player or put a little clever trick in. However he does retain the ball well unlike someone like Ali, so an upgrade on that. Winks and Domble will be the metronomesLike Eriksen, he’s essentially a 1 in two goals/assist output in this league. What he doesn’t have is the metronome aspect or Eriksen’s game, but that’s pretty unique to Eriksen as a number ten. He’s a slightly less capable passer but that’s caveated my him being a more adventurous passer, and he sees less of the ball. Better dribbler though and more of an entertainer.
He’d be a sideways replacement, which is fine, Eriksen is top class.
ThanksEspanyol!
Yeah. He’s widely considered one of the best in France. Is that the guy who was really good on Ndombele and our Lo Celso interest early on?
LovelyYeah. He’s widely considered one of the best in France.
Is it a good thing if he joins them? (I'm no longer understanding if people are keen on the players we're linked too or not anymore)Lovely
I'd be absolutely gutted if he ended up at Arsenal, no matter who we sign that'd be a huge coup for them.
It's amazing that when they drop the old Wenger ways and grease the wheels of those agents to move things a long they do transfers quicker.Levy getting merked by Kroenke lol
