That’s the experience Conte was talking about in his post match presserWell at least he’s used to to being boo’d

Tbf it’s a forum, be a bit quiet if people agreed with everything. I’m actually grand with us getting Zaniolo, but those people could quite easily argue that for every Deki, there’s an Emerson that we’re trying to replace already or for every Bentancur, there’s a Bissouma/Richarlison that can’t get in the team. All just opinions really, some transfer work, some don’t, what we think doesn’t truly matter.
I think it’s certainly valid to ask the question, why another attacking mid for 30-40mil? we have the 3rd best attack and 15th best defence in the league.
I don’t disagree with the idea. But when’s there’s limited funds, one quality player in each position should be the priorityI get that but isn't that the place we're trying to get to as a squad?
There was an interview back in beginning of season where Conte explicitly said there should be no "back ups" and he's said to want two quality options in every position.
I would argue that any supporter would take Bissouma and Richarlison signing 9/10 times. Both have not had great seasons, been in/out, injured, etc. But in my opinion that's both unlucky and on each of those players. I mean Sarr has almost played himself ahead of the likes of Bissouma.
Again I'm taking the Zaniolo signing every day of the week, because if he's Kulus competition and consider the 5th forward, that's a great scenario for us
Is signing kulusevski/bentancur going to be the new van der vaart?
Just because it’s happened once doesn’t mean it happens every time.
I think people are valid to have concerns. If it’s a loan and we get to have a look at him then fine. If he’s injured the whole time here or flatters to deceive then we won’t need to push the trigger on him. Seems ideal to me.

And of course because they did it, it's almost a certainty that any future signing will.Reading this thread just shows that some people have learnt nothing from the signings of Bentancur and Kulusevski, neither of whom were seen as being much cop by probably the same people (particularly Bentancur). Maybe, just maybe Conte and Paratici know more about this than we do? Just saying.
I get there being concern about his injury history but this season he only had one injury which was a nasty shoulder injury. I was watching that game and that was just a bad injury that any player would have got. Aside from that he’s had no issues this season. Tbh Porro’s injury history is also very concerning but I never see people really mentioning it.Is signing kulusevski/bentancur going to be the new van der vaart?

GK?I think people are missing the fact that Conte not just wants him but also thinks he isnt used right at Roma. So Conte might have a plan for him to rediscover his potential

Jose Mourinho not using a player correctly? That doesn't sound ANYTHING like him...I think people are missing the fact that Conte not just wants him but also thinks he isnt used right at Roma. So Conte might have a plan for him to rediscover his potential
He’s comfortably good enough defensively for RWB in my opinionIf Porro doesn’t come in, but Zaniolo does, we may see more of Kulusevski at RWB. Not an awful idea against mid or lower table sides.
Looks ideal for the Kulusevski role and I'm sure he's there to bring more competition in a front 3. Even if it also gives us the option to go 352. One thing we really miss with Deki out or even a weakness with Son on the left is that ability to carry the ball from deep and hold onto it. Moura and Gil are not good at that so he will improve us there.
It is another squad addition and that is good. It's just not the highest priority but you can't always control which position presents itself in January.
