Regardless of views on Poch, if he does go I don't want Mourinho anywhere near the club.

An unpleasant spiteful hypocrite who doesn't take responsibility for his own actions in terms of his club or the game generally.

If he's made Spurs manager I'll genuinely be conflicted.

Don’t be ridiculous. Graham was a gooner ****. Mourinho is just a ****.

Huge huge difference

Maybe there’s something in that.
Graham was always an Arsenal ****, even when with us.
If Mourinho is just a ****, at least he’d be our ****.

Disclaimer - I’d rather we got Allegri than Mourninho, he’s not my choice, but I do see what he’d bring.

I would love us to be a big cynical, arrogant and uncharming club: those ones tend to win things, and aren't satisfied unless they do that.

Saw something similar to this on another thread.
The Spurs players allegedly downing tools to get Poch binned, stinks of the way Utd and Chelsea players have behaved in the past. Maybe we’re at that point now where our players no longer accept mediocrity in the way the did previously.
Why do Utd and Chelsea players behave like that, because they are used to winning things and expect certain levels. Maybe now our players expect to be doing better too. We’re no longer a plucky Europa regular done good. We’re a consistent CL team (or should be).

The managers job is to win games, and ideally trophies. That's how they're judged.
I honestly couldn't care less what sort of person it is, or how he goes about it.

To think that some fans are turning their noses up at a serial winner, a manager who will go down as one the greatest, most successful managers of his generation, because of his personality?
Get a grip man.

Get a grip man.

Fair enough if you feel that way.

Personally I don't want anyone like that near my club.

So over the top though...anyone would think we were considering appointing a kiddy fiddler.

Not really no. I don't like cheats and people who do their best to ruin the game in the name of winning.

It's fair enough that I don't want that near Spurs. And like I said it's fair enough if you think otherwise.

How's he cheated?

There's absolutely no guarantee that Mourinho will win anything at Spurs. He's yesterday's man. He loves himself in football more than football in him.

Of course there's no guarantee, but he's won multiple trophies at every club he's managed.

Every.Single.Club.

Look we've tried the 'cuddly manager you'd let babysit your kids', the 'arm around the shoulder of every player' manager, and 5 years later it's unfortunately ended fruitless.
Personalities should be way down the list of priorities.

Its time to roll the dice and get a bastard in.

With the help of crazy money everywhere. He won't have it at Spurs in the foreseeable future.

People say mourinho is defensive. At the moment under poch we are not the flowing attacking football that our club is known for, heck we aren't even defensively solid. At the moment we don't seem to know what we want to be

To be fair he'd already have an exceptional squad to work with.

And he'd play to our strengths, low block so our defenders won't get exposed, with quick counter attacking football.

Lucas and Son flanking Kane.

Dull football, prickly press conferences, he's Jose without any of the success atm.

I bet he won't be happy with our defenders and ask for a massive rebuild in the first place. He doesn't develop players.
