So scapegoats shouldn’t be here, fan favourites have excuses.
Difference between Romero and Kane who you mentioned is even when we’ve been pretty dreadful he’s had a very good season.
No one should write off Romero or suggest he should be sold but to excuse what has been an appalling season performance wise from him whilst slating others week in week out is ludicrous to me.
I don't think anybody is.

He's been awful most the season. Kulu, Son et al.

But this form for a few is part of a bigger picture.

I think when Stellini say the players were not prepared, I think he means they couldn’t be arsed to fight.

I missed the game lads, how did we get on?
Well after 2 mins Newcastle scored.....forget about that.

After 5 mins Newcastle scored....forget about that.

After 9 mins Newcastle scored....forget about that.

After 21 mins Newcastle scored....forget about that.

After 25 mins Newcastle scored....forget about that.

After 60 mins we scored!!!!

After 70 mins Newcastle scored to snatch a draw.

Oh and Levy is now the coach after he went in and congratulated the players for a spirited performance

Dads watching it on delay and never wants me to tell him score.

We’ve just gone 1-0 down…

I’ll have to have a discussion about this in future as to whether I should just be telling him not to bother lol.
Checked with him after game and he still maintained he wouldn’t have wanted me to tell him, that he supports spurs no matter what the result was, even if he is fucked off with them.

He’s also had two glasses of rather strong whisky (he usually only has one per game when watching on tv but said second was to number the pain) and is looking a little red-faced lol.

Does anyone else feel that this is a watershed moment? I've always tried to believe in the process having endured the 1990's etc. This moment feels different for me though and I don't think any new manager will change this until we get new ownership.

ENIC thanks for everything but time to cash in and move on. We need new owners now.

Sky - shock horror - probably making a fuss out of nothing. Levy frequently travels with the squad, I've seen him get on/off the bus at plenty of away games (eg. Sunderland) before so wouldn't be a shock if a member of the Spurs entourage has joined the rest of them as they get ready to depart/fly back.

As for the rest of it, I repeat it is pointless getting worked up or drawing any conclusions from this result tbh and neither should the club - the issues they will surely already be well aware of and we've been told changes to the football operations and a new (more progressive) manager is on the way. This was on the cards because for weeks it has been clear everyone is just waiting for the season to end. The club wanted to get to the end of the campaign before resetting, Conte flounced early, the club decided to stick rather than seek an interim to get through the season, the players though have clearly mentally hit the beach already. There's no comeback from that. And run into a hungry team with lots to play for and you could very well get smashed off the park.

Reminds me of United last season (where they tried an Interim...) where their season just died a slow death with everyone waiting to be put out of their misery. I'd say to fans just disconnect and don't watch matches even - if you do get that angry or emotional about it it's going to do you no good, these are dead games with a (presently) dead squad. Next year is a new year, things can change quickly, but for now, nah. Roll on the 28th May......

Keep hearing this and I expect as long as things are bad it'll keep on being his fault. For the last few months there have been plenty on here demanding a 4-3-3. Well we got it today and were 5-0 down in 20 minutes.

Levy has gone full Todd Boelhy?
Noone's saying it's only Conte's fault. Of course there are considerable issues relating to the ownership. What we saw today is the result of poor recruitment, both player and managerial, lack of strategy, and of course, very poor coaching.

It’s funny cause I read into it as Stellini is clueless and the players can’t be bothered to play for him.
