Nothing about that performance suggests it’s entirely on the changing of the formation which caused that result. The only reason we looked slightly better when we went back to the 3 at the back was because Newcastle were 5-0 up and basically gave up.
I won’t be surprised if we get a similar battering in one of our remaining games despite using the back 3. These muppets playing for us have zero shame.
It'll be same again, possibly worse against Liverpool.

How embarrassing to hear this from Hugo
Not about tactics, we miss the fight, no desire to win battles, couldn’t react, couldn’t bounce back into a performance, no desire, too much slack in all aspects, difference in level between Newcastle and Tottenham. We could not fight, late in all aspects. Lack of pride.
And as our leader and captain, what did he do to rally the troops at the time? Absolutely nothing. He stood there staring into space or muttering to himself. All talk talk talk after the game as usual. What a joke.

Danny Rose really doesn’t seem too well, just everything about his demeanour. Hope he is actually doing alright.

If we had royal and Davies then maybe but with who was available… we all thought it might be a massacre - and we’re not the “professional” coaches!
We also didn't gain anything with the three in midfield which should have been one of the strengths we should have gained.

I agree that we need a coach / project manager but I worry Nagalsmann may throw his toys out of the pram quite quickly
Not sure if you get Nagelsmann. He isn't that kind of guy.

He is so deep into coaching that he only wants to focus on that.

Rather than cry about not having players he'll make tactical tweaks instead

It just goes to show what good coaching and the correct decision making at the top can achieve.
Poch had us playing well above the sum of our parts and afaiac it was only when the players started believing they had cracked it and were better than they actually were that they effectively downed tools when things started to turn and they no longer wanted to put the work in

Other (apparently) top coaches have come in and got them working briefly and then they have reverted to type.
These players aren't up to the job physically, mentally or technically IMO and the majority need replacing.

We need a well coached team, we are just a bunch of individuals much like Chelsea ATM.

As much as I’m no fan of Levy and our footballing side, I think him going to dressing is a good thing.
He rarely does it, so it makes a point when he does. If lloris bust up rumours are true, then it needs senior mgmt to step in. Works like this in any business. Hopefully he’s ensuring people can get on with their jobs tomorrow (if they remain employed)

Mine is 3 and blissfully enjoying his weekend. Enjoy it while it lasts matey, because it'll be spurs soon enough...

Mate I so hope yours doesn't have to put up with the shit that I've put mine through over the years...eldest is 20 and youngest 11! I'm just fed up with the false dawns at this point. Like others have said, we were sold the dream...just wait for the new training ground....just wait for the new stadium. What are we waiting for next?

Someone please take the mic off Danny Rose. This guy is clearly not right and sky are taking advantage asking him questions about someone else's future that he has no right to be speculating about.

Anyone else feel sorry for their kids signing them up to this shit?
I've fallen so much out of love with Spurs over the last 12 months I'm not even going to be supporting Spurs by the time they're old enough to understand what it's all about.

And I don't really want them having to suffer at school being Spurs like I did either. I'd rather they weren't bothered with football at all to be honest

Keep hearing this and I expect as long as things are bad it'll keep on being his fault. For the last few months there have been plenty on here demanding a 4-3-3. Well we got it today and were 5-0 down in 20 minutes.

Levy has gone full Todd Boelhy?
Well yeah, when we play Perisicg and Poro ofcourse the 4-3-3 will not help. It almost feels like he did this to prove the formation, which he has been asked about every press conferense, is not the problem. Would be different with Davies and Emerson on the sides.

But away to Newcastle from the start is never the time to change the formation for the first time after 1,5 years anyway. Doing it when we are 2-1 down at hoem is another thing

Do you see us winning again this season? I wouldn’t like to put money on it.

The next coach that comea in needs to be told that he'll be here longer than the players.

And that the players understand that.

It's the only way we get out of this cycle
