To illustrate how things have changed (and how old I am), in 1990 I presented at the ticket office two weeks before the season started and bought a season ticket for £90. No waiting list.
I bought a ST in 2004 for around £530. I did not have to wait, so [presumably] no waiting list at that point either. However, after giving up my ST, having had it for a couple of seasons (had to give it up unfortunately), there was a waiting list iirc... almost certainly due to interest generated by our two 5th place finishes under Martin Jol's tenure. The club was starting to knock on the door of the top 4 after years of mid-table mediocrity. And the rest is... as they say... history.

So I'm right in thinking the game isn't on TV?

I know it's probably been discussed, but I'm not trekking back through the thread.

Not on TV but is being shown on Facebook I believe, via Inter’s account. So an option if your desperate, otherwise wait for the DVD:playful:

Wow you two are username friends

Yes I realised some time ago that we had pretty much the same name and I have not been around as long but because it is slightly different (a space) it was not picked up when I chose it. Guess I should change it but as my namesake does not post a lot wasn't sure it really mattered

Anyone know how you go about getting a change of seat for Season Ticket holders for next year? I North stand this year as I was in batch 8. Really would like to be in the White Wall with my white top on.

Wouldn't bank on it there are probably loads who couldn't get a South Stand ST and had to pick elsewhere in the stadium wanting to move.

Needn't have built the stadium! Our income's going up £75m anyway....

Not quite. It's saying a £25m gap per year for 3 years between 1st and 20th. But obviously we're unlikely to win three league titles in a row, plus there'll be a fall in revenue from the domestic rights. Overall it does make us slightly richer still compared to our European counterparts, but on the whole no richer compared to our domestic rivals if we fluctuate between 3rd and 4th (and less well off than them if we do worse than that).

I don’t think domestic fell it pretty much stood still. If it fell it was a tiny amount. When you add this to the guaranteed £30m from Nike for 15 years that pretty much pays the annual loan amount.

I contacted the club last week on this question and was told the club had not made a decision yet on this policy .

Probably the perfect time to build a stadium. Also makes CL qualification less and less a vital factor.

I think there's a way to go before that's the case.

CL brings in tens of millions even for teams that fail to get out of the group stages:

EDIT: The market-share pool (or whatever it's called) has obviously been created to keep the bigger teams interested in the competition, to combat exactly the point you're making.

When it comes to the moolah, Uefa aren't stupid :)

Now waiting for next rumour about Poch , what are Talkshite and all the other rubbish pundits going to talk about, he's not going to MU or RM all settled, he will be on the slopey touchline at the new stadium next season.

A CL qualification and not getting out the group can be worth just £50m or even less. That’s likely to be 1/10 th of our revenue in a couple of years. So it’s definitely becoming marginalised. Although obviously it adds massively to your commercial value and status.

Thanks to all for advice. I think I will be happy with my seat as many cannot get them. Of course the most important thing is who will be sitting around me:unsure:
