I consider myself: British, a Londoner, Canadian, and Polish, in that order. Born here, lived most of my life in London, also have a Canadian passport through my dad and have lived there for a while, and my mum is Polish. Simples

London is amazing, but honestly outside, here in york.... Its a completly different ball game, London is almost its own country you could say !

and the countryside Im not so sure about, I mean I think the italian countryside is a hell lot better, having done a lot of cycling there (well in the monferrato region, in Piemonte) and some of it really is enough to take you breath away..never got that feeling cycling outside york, or even walking the north york moores, but Carlton (near middlesbrough) is amazing

so true. i went to uni in kent and hated it. london should become an independent state and the rest of you weirdos should fend for yourselves!

British. Missus is an Aussie and our daughter was born here in Malaysia. She gets dual citizenship, not to mention a cool exotic place of birth inside both her passports. Not to mention the option of representing either nation in the Ashes/Olympics/World Cup/International Bowls.

I loved York. Spent Christmas there last year!

The Lake ans Peak districts are absolutely beautiful, as is almost the entire stretch of Hardrian's Wall (Newcastle aside hahaha). Devon and Cornwall are also spectacular. I didn't get to see much of Wales or the Scottish highlands, so I'm sure with those still to be explored at a later date, my views on GB's countryside won't be changing!

I also lived in Canada for a while, up in Banff in the Rockies in Alberta and while it was spectacular and all, I preferred England!

Bet you are mate. I'd love to do a stint in Japan. I've not been yet, but I lived with some Japanese people in Canada and they were such a cool bunch. Bloody different, but in a good way.

I'll get up there for a ski season at some point in my life.

Londoner living in the US.

This thread is great stuff for me to beg, plead, harass etc etc for SC members around the globe to contribute to my project (click the link in my signature for details).

Come on ya bunch of lazy gits, spare me two minutes will ya  Also the end of the year is just around the corner which is when I'll contribute the money raised (my own money - not yours) towards this site. If you don't like me or my past comments think about this site instead while sparing me two minutes.
