8 days until the window closes. 0 days until our insane run of games begins. We still don’t have a backup striker and each day this deal is looking further and further away from happening. I’m starting to panic on the inside. Anyone else?

The striker situation is the one I’m most worried out, atleast in CB we have options when Tanganga is fit.

The days are ticking by & we’re still no nearer to knowing if we’ll end up with a striker bearing in mind how long this has been going on for.

Worrying to say the least.

All the ITKs are confident and it wouldn't be a transfer window without Levy trying to pull somebody's pants down.

Could someone please recap on the last 89 pages. Are we about to sign a slow, not very technical CB who has good positioning and is very strong mentally?
No we are not about to sign him, we are in talks to sign a reasonable pace, technical CB with good positioning and good reading of the game, who would immediately improve our team.

Personally I’d want to read the article because let’s be honest, Ricky Sacks has probably put a positive spin on it that isn’t present in the actual article.
The article is here: https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calc...cerca-diga-kante-smalling-3802337171136.shtml

The relevant bit says:

Skriniar already said yes to Spurs, in recent days he also liked Bale's photos on social media. Inter are expecting an official offer from Tottenham today: a new meeting between the parties will not be necessary, a conference call and the right numbers will be enough to make ends meet. The drop point could be 40 million plus bonuses.

It also says that Skriniar is now more in London than in Milan.

If that is €40mil that is very good news indeed.

Let's hope that it's his arms that he has left behind.

Sounds like the last bit of haggling.

I think the only thing to scupper this is a gazumping.
Which fortunately is unlikely as the player is European and so makes his own mind up and Inter aren't mates of a London based Russian crook.
