Say what you want about Lukaku but his grasp of different languages is outstanding. He’s fluent in Italian and wasn’t there that long. Speaks 7 or 8 languages. Ridiculously impressive.

I take back my slight poo-pooing of this yesterday, this is clearly an absolutely mental story.

Lukaku represents everything wrong with some players in the modern game, badge kissing one minute and saying about his dream of playing at Chelsea. Then basically saying he wants out the next, just a scum bag.

leave him alone. He’s homesick and just remembered that he plays for a team supported by racists.

I don't think they're the qualities of a scumbag. What he has done is a bit disrespectful. I find football fans hatred of players to be out of line with our normal morals.

Yeah, it comes across as just really fickle to be honest, rather than anything truly heinous. I’d be mighty annoyed if I were a Chelsea fan though, and I bet Tuchel is fuming.

You've got to love modern standards:

Wealthy business owner steals pension fund. What a scumbag.
Director accused of sexually harrassing his stars over the past 2 decades. What a scumbag.
A politican has been found guilty of giving huge business deals to his friends. What a scumbag.
A footballer has spoken about wanting to join one of the top 3 clubs in the world and possibly returning to his old club. What a scumbag.

Comes across as incredibly disrespectful to Tuchel, his team mates, Chelsea fans and Abramovich to me.

Good lad ?

Alternatively they've promised him that the team would be built around him to get him to sign and were clearly not being honest with him. Considering how he was used the first time he was there I'm not surprised he's unhappy.

Diddums, poor little footballer making a fortune and they wont play to his needs lol. Maybe take a pay cut to play at you 2nd childhood club and he wouldn't of had to move.

I am pretty sure if he had of dropped his wage demands at Inter, you know for the good of the club that he now sees as his home, he could have stayed there.
Reducing His wages wouldn't have covered the money they got for him. He said that he wanted to discuss a new contract with inter but they declined. He could've stayed on the same contract and wages, but that wouldn't really help them would it?

Lukaku dropped from the squad for todays match
the infighting has begun
Big challenge for Tuchel. He's done a good job so far but player power and dealing with problems like this has been a problem for Chelsea for a long time.

Normally it's the beginning of the end for Chelsea managers.

Dortmund and PSG insiders all said the same thing about Tuchel, that he's a great tactician and coach but a difficult person to work with.

Looks like we're seeing that now. It's taken a year for any discontent to surface which is longer than most expected.
