I'd rather they remember they play football and get paid handsomely to do so. A smile works too.I think so, and maybe try a smile every now and then.

So we're basing this squad on previous squads with different players?
Got it.
You still won't accept it will you? He is not the right man for the job. He needs to be replaced. What have you seen that makes you think different?????
The thing is Jose’s sucha storied manager, such a forceful personality you’ve got to have pretty big cajones to come out and tell him the way he’s doing things is wrong. Who knows what the dynamic between them is, but can hardly blame him for being deferential. The thing puzzling me in all this...what the fuck is Sacramento’s role? It’s like when we appointed Ramos and pretended that Gus Poyet was going to be the most amazing assistant. AVB and Steffen Freund. Sacramento can’t be the brightest spark in football like some claim if he’s supporting this 6 year out of date shite that we are serving up can he?
I’m certain I always said I needed Jose to be judged after a pre season, but we’ve kind of had that with the Covid, and we’re even worse than we were before hand with a fully fit squad.

Must be a hold over from Poch then ....If you’re not happy going into work, money doesn’t make a difference, especially if you’re used to that level of money. Do you think this group of players look happy and motivated. That’s just the way it works unfortunately you play for your manager and normally reflect his attitude.
Becuase it is hard/players are overpriced. And from that list the first four made real impact immediately. Also the Kulusevski and Pulisic didn't join their clubs in winter.Give me a break with this January is so difficult. Bergwijn, Bruno Fernandes, Haaland, Laporte, Pulisic, Minamino, Ighalo, Berge, Bowen, Tielemans, Kulusevski, Alcacer, Lobotka, Dani Olmo, Palacios, Weigl. All done the last year or two.
If you pay the money, good players are available all year round.

Some of us wouldn't mind a small trophy - not all of us by the looks of things. To think there’s THFC fans on here who actually believed this ‘has been’ was a good fit & would win us the big trophies...??
So the answer is to keep on blaming the previous manager?
How could you forget the Audi Cup success? Some of us wouldn't mind a small trophy - not all of us by the looks of things.
... The players keep cropping up with the same problems under two different managers ...So the answer is to keep on blaming the previous manager?
Yeah, I celebrated so hard I have a black spot in the memory bank. How could you forget the Audi Cup success?
I think he misread our capability. Thought we were the third best team in the country, and with a few tweaks could make the difference. Instead we were a team in serious decline.I’m still confused as to why Jose took the job? I know some will say there are 15m reasons, but he could have got that anywhere.
I can only presume he got fed up of being labelled a manager who could only achieve with money available, but the reality is he’s always been able to spend ( yes, even at Utd ), yet that was never on the cards here.
I’m not one of those fans that isn’t prepared for my team to win ugly, but the crux of the matter is the Jose way is ok if you’re winning and you can have some success.
If you don’t though, it will get old pretty quickly.
Not you, you monster, the club ?Eh?! Merely suggesting that the influence an assistant can provide is fairly limited.
Let's not forget he's working under perhaps the most egotistical manager in the last two decades in Mourinho so hardly going to be in a position in his relatively fledgling career to be offering conflicting advice.
