The same Levy who handed Jose a 15 million a year contract? I get it, people genuinely believe the Levy hype. Stop kidding yourselves, he is only human and makes many mistakes. Jose is one of those mistakes.
That is yet to be established anywhere other than the minds of people who never liked him in the first place.

We should sack him then. If the fans - said this before - are an indication of this site, then there is no point in carrying on.

Clearly they don't want him as manager, and the debate will rage on.

Far as I am concerned I dunno how much I should care from here on out. One voice in a sea of many is pissing in the wind.

Thought we created enough to win it in the 90. We played way more football than people in here are giving credit for and I think thats me done.

Banter club, always will be.
Funnily enough, I was talking to a goon mate at work today. After he'd got past laughing like Popeye, he turned around and said that we really should have won that game by 3 or 4 goals.

Guess he watched the same game as you and I...

But then we're not desperate to get JM removed just because he used to manage a rival.

I agree. While I am not a fan of JM, I have to acknowledge that given the support, he wins trophies. The question is, will he get that support?

Poch was not supported financially imo, and without it, JM or any other manager will NOT win trophies with the current Spurs team. The transfer window will be the real indication if Levy really wants to win. If we buy players early on or if we do the usual name drop then wait till the last minute and haggle before failing to sign who the manager asked for and blaming a tough market despite all the other teams buying, will show if we have a chance of winning anything or if it is all just smoke and mirrors to shift the blame for failing on the manager.

A lot of talk about what needs to be done to win trophies, at the moment I’d be happy with winning a few matches with some style & panache.

It's true, Moura squares the ball to Dele and who knows? Onward to Saturday I guess!

Do u watch every minute of every one of their games?

What you're doing is comparing Everton's highlights reel, to Spurs' warts n all, behind the scenes outtakes.
As I said, if he'd been here 12/18 months, your moaning might be valid.

I've watched at least half of their games, and they play a lot better than us, and he's been there for less time than Mourinho.
4 months is not so little time like you are thinking it is. I'm not expecting results, but at least somethings that resembles a a gameplan. We are regressing with each game

We are losing players, squeezing their stretched fitness and chipping away at confidence with every game. The gameplan is there. But as you would expect, Mourinho didn't take the job preparing for having no strikers for all of spring.

I think it's more than Injuries that have curtailed jose. I think the squad were fatigued as f@#*. I don't think poch had long term methodology in training players so hard. I believe the reason they are slow and sluggish is inappropriate training methods by the 'god' poch. Yes that was sarcasm.

Lots of revisionism here. If the truth be told the football in Pochs first season was shit. Proper shit. No bones, it was shit.

It took poch 2 seasons to be playing the football we all liked. But it only lasted 2 seasons. Afterward we were going backward. The players didn't like him and had given up playing for him. Including and especially kane.

In his whole time poch never installed a winning mentality. We were the nearly men.

Jose inherited a weary, fatigued, maybe even mentally depressed squad, with no solidity mentally, I'd say actuly weak.

Poch was lucky to get to the final of champions league. We were lucky to even get out of the group.

Give the man a chance. Maybe he's playing defensive because the players can't cope with insense football. Against wolves first 20 was the best I've seen us in a while. I can see improvement maybe some choose not to.

Poch never had these problems to start with and let's take wolves for example, they smashed us up properly with Pochs best team. Maybe you don't remember you we seemed to always struggle against them.

Poch won nothing. Nothing. Hasn't up till now. Maybe he never will. Jose is paid the big bucks because he has earned it. Negative football? Winning the league with record goals.. And some poster referenced this as par for the course? Seriously???? He ended barcas domination in the league. This was 'best team in the world' barca. Not barca of today. Jose fucks up clubs does he. What happened when he left Madrid. They won 4 champions leagues, 3 on the bounce. Yes a right royal fuck up.

Poch deserved the sack. Yes he did. Move on. His high press game was found out long ago. I liked him very much but he wasn't anything other than a nearly man. Venables had us playing some serious ball, so did Harry, do we remember them the same way? We've been on an upward trajectory ever since the arneson and jol era. Steadily improving. Poch just took his turn in this trajectory. Let's remember that too. We were a lasagne away from finishing 4th with jol. We should of even finished 2nd with Harry. But we were there or thereabouts for years before poch came.

Jose deserves some respect from us. We've never had a manager like him before. He is proven beyond anything we have seen before. Jose has won more in his career than the whole history of our club. But what we know better? He's shit? You lot need to wake the fuck up.

Funny that you mention revisionism and then say Poch never had these problems. We were a lot worse than what we are now.

To be honest, I completely disagree with everything you've just said. You say high press game was found out, yet most top teams continue to implement that tactic.
You demand respect for Mourinho, yet you disrespect everything done by Pochettino saying it was by luck. He gave us the best seasons since Bill Nic.

We’re still a shambles at the back, but you can see something with the midfield/attacking midfielders. We’re lacking the focal points and our midfielders aren’t keen on shooting. Due to form, injuries and finding out who can do what, the team is constantly being shuffled around.

Skipp needs to feature more from now on.

What is annoying me is the constant passing it back to the defense. All it does is invite further pressure.

Is 40 points enough or do we need to get a bit more on the board? I could see us winning 2-3 matches before the end of the season at a maximum.

I struggle with understanding the logic behind the idea that something being implemented widely proves it wasn't found out. I think when you publish a book outlining how you do things, you shouldn't be surprised if somebody uses that against you and copies it.

This forum is ridiculous. Wasn’t long ago we won 4 games in a row and people were looking for songs to sing about Jose. 4 games later with son injured the last line of our attack and everyone wants him gone because he’s not getting results anymore. Where is the logic and what the hell do you expect him to do? Dele Alli or Moura playing centre forward! Pff they haven’t got a clue how to play the roles but yet it’s all mourinhos fault to try and grind out wins to try and keep us in contention? When we do attack all we do is bloody miss most of the times.

I'm a little twitchy about it all, couple of decent results and I'll be waiting for the annual summer stress fest.

It's not everyone mate, it's everyone who didn't want him in the first place.
They've been sitting there, sharpening their knives, itching for the opportunity.

I just think people need to write this season off in their head and give Jose a full preason and few transfer windows to inject his philosophy.

This is what might be causing some of the toxicity amongst the fanbase those who are poch lovers don't want anyone other than poch to succeed, as you know I was in favour of Jose coming in but would like to see a bit more structured football rather than the mess we are seeing.

Some will do no such thing, I find it absolutely ridiculous that some fans won't give one of the most decorated managers in the game any sort of time, especially when you consider the state of our squad right now.
We had five years of fur coat and no knickers, we finally get a winner in and after 4 months some are trying to hound him out of the club.

It's like some fans dont want success.

In an ideal world we all would mate.
But this is Spurs...things are never that simple.
