How can people be thinking this is a cover story!?

Kane wants to leave, he wanted to leave two years ago when he had an interview with Gary Neville and he still wants to leave now.

He wanted to leave so much that he was willing to forego his goalscoring record in order to leave for Bayern.

And now he pulls out of that deal at the final hour and you think it's because he is 'so impressed by Ange' or 'doesnt want to disrupt our season' or whatever else your telling yourself?

The most likely answer is that is not a cover story, and another prem club(probably multiple prem clubs) has told him to wait out the year and they'll pay him a fortune on a free transfer.

Daniel Levy can huff and puff as much as he likes with his 'ultimatum' but unfortunately he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Kane has complete control and he'd be a clown to give that up.

They have just spent £72m on Hojlund. I don't get the utd reference.

If anyone in England are getting him it would be city. Pep admires him, they have obviously wanted him for a while and he would be amazing in that team.

The UTD reference has puzzled me for ages
Maybe they’ve realised he’s a dud after a couple of training sessions

I want Kane to stay as much as the next guy but there comes a point where you ask "Are you with us?.. or not?"

I’d say United have to show a lot this season to be in with a chance of convincing HK that they are a sufficiently strong option for him.

HK doesn’t go to City all the time Haaland is there and I can’t see him leaving after just two seasons

Liverpool are another one that could go either way so along with MUFC Are simply in the mix, along with us out of the PL options

no chance Arsenal or Chelsea.

Madrid have probdbly just put a call in and they are the best bet for him. They won’t have offered anything concrete at this stage.

I’m all for understanding the positivity but there’s no way he signs a new deal, to much water under the bridge between him and Levy.
He either goes Bayern now or on a free transfer next summer, probably to a Prem rival.

Sorry, but this whole day has really been my fault. I keep putting him in my lineup, then taking him out, then putting him in again, rinse, repeat.

I also brought Richarlison in too! I was being clever as he's listed as a midfielder and I expected him to be the main man with Kane gone! anyway back on topic...

Blue Moon loving this:

"I'll get shit for this but if he stays and doesn't renew with Spurs, I'd be all over getting him on a free. I'm sure Pep would be too.
And Txiki to stick the Vs up at Levy."
"Little old City having Kane break Shearer's record on the way to collecting a premier league trophy would well and truly break the league. I am all for it."
Imagine managing your brother's career so you never get a cut of a transfer fee.
Is that from the bloke that was telling the whole of BlueMoon 2 years ago that they had taken the number 9 away from Jesus so that it was ready for Kane? And that was a done deal for ages? Bless his cotton socks.

The clubs option is stay and extend or leave for good money.

Harry’s option is stay and go anywhere he wants in a year or go now to a club who probably is down the list of options.
Outside option is Spurs have a blinding season and he wants to sta

Regardless of his legacy, he doesn’t owe us a transfer fee. He doesn’t need to be pushed anywhere. It’s a huge move and it’s complicated with family and other external factors.

I hope he stays

Thats enough for me to accept that a move to Bayern for a big fee is better than moving to a team in the PL next season. If that's how I feel about City then God knows how bad it'd be with someone like utd.

I know its impossible to tell how the season will play out but we really could be sitting here next summer, no silverware, no top 4 and Kane leaving on a free.

Honestly I don't think it's worth the risk and I love Kane

Surely if another prem club has done that then it is blatant tapping up?
