Until he's gone I am choosing to believe he's not an idiot and wouldn't tie himself to a five year deal in a foreign league that is generally a feeder for the PL, sacrificing the all time top premier league goal scorer title, which will hold for at least a decade and more likely 20-30+ years given he has 5+ years to keep pushing it towards an uncatchable total... and the chance to sign for a top PL club or Real/Barca next summer and pocket easily 50m+ (probably 60-70) in the process. It just seems so... illogical.

Honestly don't care anymore. If you take the Man City debacle in 2021, and this whole summer, into account I think Kane and his family has behaved in a very bad manner. Trying to fabricate a move to man city, not turning up for training, and this summer leaking all kinds of stories to the media. Club legend and a fantastic player but this last few summer has left me with a very bad taste!

I've been resigned to Bayern and Spurs working out the details and Kane leaving for a while now.

But I still find myself hoping Kate talks Harry into staying put....

C'mon Kate you beauty!

Like I said a week ago… let’s rip the bandage. If he’s gone, I hope it’s today and we crack on! Frankly another six months of will he/won’t he isn’t healthy for anyone. Time to get behind Big Ange now. COYS!

What is "Project Kane" ?

Thinking it's just a way Levy can sugar the pill
The three players we're getting in with the Kane money.

Various theories about which players they are but Orban/Tapsoba are the two most frequently mentioned (though I still think Vlahović would suit Ange's style to a tee)

I think the argument is being the all-time greatest goal scorer in PL history is more of a significant legacy than winning a few German titles or even a CL trophy for that matter. When people talk about Alan Shearer, it’s always followed by his goal scoring record, not the fact that he won a league title with Blackburn.
I don't necessarily disagree with you, the record has a huge weight yes, especially within your country (I'm from Brazil). The question is just the perception on a global scale, and unfortunately often the debate ends in: What did he win?

I'm not that much into Twitter and stuff, but from time to time I see the opinions regarding Kane, and it's amazing how he's underestimated for not winning anything, maybe he sees this stuff too and feels bad, I don't know. Just trying to see things as he may be seeing them

Kane will have my undying respect as a footballer, for the last 15 years I think only Luis Suarez (maybe Ibra too)has been a more complete striker, being that I understand others admiration for Lewa, Aguero, Haaland or any other name. Kane deserves so much respect for the evolution he has had throughout his career, he never had an amazing physique or was born with an absurd technique, but he has become an extremely elegant and efficient player.

Imagine how pissed Bayern and their Pletti-pawns would get if he turned them down now, after months of negotiation. It would be glorious!

(Unfortunately can't see it happening myself)
