For most football (as in soccer) players, i'd agree with you. I'm not as confident if that applies to Harry for two reasons but have to agree for one reason. First, the angles that he scores goals at and the precision of his strikes suggests that he has significantly better control of his foot position than just about every player when it comes to striking angle, etc. Field goals would be a piece of cake. Second, given his tenacity to learn and practice, i wouldn't put anything past him. On the other hand, there is his inability to take free kicks.I think/hope Kane was just being polite when he told the likes of Good Morning America this. He has next to zero chance of becoming a starting NFL placekicker. Given that most NFL rosters only have one kicker on them why would a team pick up a 30-something wannabe with zero experience when they can draft guys in their early 20s who've been playing the position since high school or pick up an experienced free agent? Kane's ceiling in the NFL is probably a PR place on a pre-season squad.
