Question is, do we keep until his contract runs out, knowing how his goals are worth? Or start the afresh now?

Hindsight is 20/20, but with everything that happened after the CL final it seems that the smartest thing for everybody was to sell Kane in 2019.

Nah, we gotta sell up in summer if he doesn’t renew. Him running down his contract will cast an awful gloom over the club and will dominate in the media. It also would not make sense economically.

He’s gone in the summer. Best we can hope for is we get £100m for him and even then we will probably spunk it up the wall on shit and will be told that’s all we have to spend despite having revenue of over €500m euros.

The sell Kane / Gvardiol rumours the other night made me chuckle (sort of)..

It’s like a one legged man getting another leg if he has his head chopped off..

Yeah, seems sensible!

The smartest thing would have been to spend the ~200M we spent over the next two windows on much better players than Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Clarke, and Bergwijn.

I was shocked the last time he signed a new deal. I really thought we’d struggle to hold onto him. We got our chance to build a side around the best striker we’ll likely see in our lifetimes here and Levy blew it.

It would be heartbreaking seeing him in a Utd shirt.

But Levy/ENIC can only blame themselves.

He's wasted his best years with us.

Let’s wait and see. We’ve heard this before and there’s still half a season to go. Don’t start crying just yet, Trix said earlier this week he wouldn’t be surprised to see him stay.

As if selling Kane (although we have to) will do anything but put players off coming here.

Sooner we get this bald wanker and the old fucking codger out of the Club the better because we will do nothing but regress to a mid table Club.

You know what, the bigger pisser is that he believes joining a team that hasn’t won the fucking league in a decade is his best shot at a title.

Keep him until his contract runs out.

Ideal scenario: we have a strong second half of the season, finish top 4, Conte signs a contract extension, and we mount title challenge next season with Kane leading our attack.

…and no, I haven’t been smoking anything ?

He'll definitely win something if he chooses united, maybe not the league anytime soon but definitely a chance at a domestic cup.

On top of everything else Levy will have wasted the club career of the best player any of us will most likely ever see in a Spurs shirt and not just any player but one who absolutely adores the club. Absolutely unforgivable if this comes to pass, especially to a league rival.
