Right Harry, you could start building bridges again by going back and liking the Happy Birthday post Spurs posted on Insta a month ago. We haven't forgotten

I am not going to change my vote to "Forgive and Forget" until there is some cost to his actions this Summer.

His tweet was a good start, but want to see a proper "Sorry" from him.

He should be stripped of his Vice Captaincy especially with Lloris likely to leave next Summer, we need a more respected successor.

New contract incoming do we think?
Personally reading the statement it is not very committed. It feels like he may have something written up with Levy to go next season for a certain fee but I don't see him being here any longer than this season.

Still better to have a decision made and it gives us time to look at other transfers and prepare for his departure

The fact he’s released this means he did try to leave.
Still a snake in my eyes but will get behind him this season as Spurs matters more than Harry Kane.
Really not impressed by his shenanigans.

Get him back in the side and move on from this. I won't love him like I did but at least we've got a top striker for the season

Best news of the window....so far.

Let's just forget about it. We all make mistakes, life is too short to hold grudges against people we don't personally know.

Very mixed feelings about this.

We still have the best CF in world football = good. I haven't forgiven him for running us through the mud all Summer = bad.

Edit: also he clearly isn't going to apologise.

"So Harry, do you have anything to say specifically about the attempt to force a move from Spurs, and the disruption caused to the team this summer"

Sky are crying their poor little eyes out. Silly ****s. This is the best outcome for the Club. Let's be clear, wanting to leave is one thing. Effectively going on strike, is another. It's a very serious thing. However, as a player, he is irreplaceable to us. So for the good of the Club, I'm happy he's staying, because he will be focussed on playing well, if not for the Club which he clearly doesn't love as much as we thought, but for himself, and his records.

Messi wanted to leave Barca at one point too. He ended up staying for 99% of his career and didn't want to leave when he did in fact, depart. Next year Haaland is available. Think City will go for him. Only leaves United to contend with for Kane next summer. There is a good chance, he may end up at Spurs forever now. I'd like that, despite the fact that he has been a **** this summer.

Would've needed a "Pep is just too bald" in his statement for me to forgive and forget 100%.
Still nice to get this shit out of the way before deadline day.
