He's 100% right in his comments and I agree with pretty much everything he's saying. The one thing that's missing and that would get every fan on his side is to admit his own failure and shortcomings. It's a shame.hes taking no responsibility whatsoever

Levy just holds onto players forever. I get we don't want to be a selling club but every single club sells when the money's right and they can reinvest. Does anyone think we were better off keeping Dier, Alli, Moura?
Should have sold Rose, Dier, Dele in hindsight. But then again, we'd have probably bought replacements like Aurier

Name one talented defender we have in our squad. I’ll wait..:
Think you need to take 5 and have a think on that.
We have some shit granted but Pedro, Romero and even Davies and Royal aren't bad players. Dier isnt the worst either. We are weak and need a clearout but
we're also playing a system that exposes these frailties, which makes ot even more frustrating.

Loool fairs

If this quote is accurate then as far as im concerned Conte just met the minimum requirements for his tenure at spurs to be the success I hoped. Hes called the board out on the record. That eliminates any talk of it only being conjecture from fans regarding the ownerships ambitions, an actual manager said it.

Not going to lie - I actually feel better now, reading Conte's comments than I did post-match...its like he has been freed.
I don't think Conte has done a good job this season. But when it comes to understanding what it takes to win trophies and titles, Conte is an expert and Levy is not. I'm glad he's going down in flames.

What do we think the chances are that he’s sacked after those comments? Above 50%?
I don’t think he will be, he’s ranted and raved before. Although I’d like it if he was and we could bring in the new manager to take over for remaining games, if it’s Mason until end of the season then I’m also fine with that as well play better football but only with the caveat that the new manager taking over in summer is announced so it shows we have a plan.

Edit: I’ve now read all the quotes, he’s on thin ice 🧊 for sure

He's far from blameless but he's right at the same time. Poch was saying similar things toward the end of his reign as well, the difference being he was actually good in the 5 years that preceded that. Conte hasn't had anything like that so people are going to dismiss what he's saying straight up but we go through this pattern every couple of years, it can't be an accident.

It looks like the words of a lunatic now but in a few years it'll be looked back on in the same way Jose's "finishing 2nd with United is my best ever achievement" is. At the time it's the ramblings of a mad man desperate to get sacked, with the benefit of hindsight I fear he'll be proven spot on.

I just wish he said this at the back end of last season or even in January when his stock was much higher.

And you (Levy) going to keep him after this. Let me not swear.
He can't keep him after this. Keeping him after the performance(s) would be bad enough but after these interviews he simply cannot stay in his position.
