Looks like it's gonna be City then.
Not too fussed either way tbh. By the time the final comes around, god know what sort of form any of the teams are gonna be in, or injuries they may have.

I look forward to hearing OGS excuses after this. Especially as a day ago he said they would have no excuses for not going through.

Don't get why so many prefer to play City. Sterling, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Agüero, they have much more match-winning talent than Utd.

The way we defend in our box you just know Utd players would be going over at every opportunity so I'm happy that we are playing City in the final, can't stand those cheating diving fuckers, honestly.

It's largely that Jose has a good record v Guardiola and we're a bit of a bogey team for them lately. And we know if we do lose it will probably be because they played better football and not that we got cheated.

Edit - and the final is very close to a potential City CL semi 1st leg, and utd/OGS desperately needed this trophy more than city do.

Early predictions for a Spurs v City final:

Possession: 28% v 72%
Total shots: 4 v 17
Corners: 3 v 13
Final score: 1-0

Dunno about that... the thought of our defense trying to deal with 13 City corners makes me soil my pants.

Rather have played United, city are too unpredictable. They can be kinda average having all the possession and fancy football but do fack all with it .
And another day they can take you apart 5-0 with ease, and make the final a nightmare day

Sorry but United are the definition of unpredictable.

Well since Ledley lifted the trophy, we've had 3 major finals and have scored a total of zero goals... So let's hope we can find the back of the net at least!

as has been said, if we are to get beat (which i don't think we will), i'd rather get beaten by a better footballing side who deserve it rather than be cheated out of it by diving floppy fish throwing themselves to the floor at every opportunity

Not sure about this one, I feel like we've been City's bogey team for the past couple of seasons.
We have but it feels like a fluke.
Anyway, who knows what happens in four months.
If City make the Champions League semi-finals they will probably play their B team in the Carabao.
In some weird way tonight was City`s Carabao Cup final. The Manchester derby was the game that they could not afford to lose.

Intriguing calling city the better footballing side who deserve it.
Diving Vs artificially enhanced club run by slavers

John Stones has completely turned a corner, fair play to him.

He had an excellent game with Dias.

Just have to hope that come April our spine is fit and maybe City are still battling for the title.

But it's one game and I feel sure between Jose and the players' intrinsic motivation we'll do it.

Indeed, Mourinho has won only six of 23 meetings with Guardiola and has been out-scored 37 to 27 in those matches – although only Jurgen Klopp (eight) has beaten the Catalan more often.
