Got to say Touchel sets his teams up to functional football that is effective but not enjoyable to watch.

Bayern (2nd) vs. Bayer Leverkusen (1st) tonight, it looks like the only match worth watching so I'll probably keep an eye on it. Alonso has Bayer playing some lovely stuff, it'll be Bayern's first real test.

4 in 4 so far, it will likely be a 35+ league goal season from Kane, probably around 50 in total.

Bayern dominated before they scored but Bayer have really grown into it. Lovely free kick.

Sidenote but this English Bundesliga commentator does my head in. We get it - you speak German and you know the German words for everything.

Bayern are playing terrible now. Giving the ball away so much in their own third! Looks like Conte Spurs!

I’m impressed with Alonso, has to be said.

If for any reason Ange had to stop, I would currently turn to Alonso.

Leverkusen had a style, they looked fast and disciplined and only failed with their finishing. Frankly they were better than Bayern and deserved the point at least.

Biggest crime tonight was sloppy passing. Sooo many opportunities missed from wank crosses or through balls, and lets face it, we know a shit final pass when we see one.

I only saw the 2nd half, probably being a bit unfair but I'm glad we got VdV over Tapsoba because he was having a hard time out there. Lucky not give a penalty away.
