Anyone donating to Jude Bellingham's GoFundMe for the fine he's going to have to pay?

Fine will be the least of his worries. He needs to expect a very lengthy ban for that despite being correct

"Criminal complaint" filed against Bellingham

Ha. I don't know how German slander law differs (or not) from UK law, but it would seem that suggesting someone previously convicted of match-fixing is prone to match-fixing is less a case of slander than a statement of fact.

Pursuing, and losing, a libel/slander case can be particularly damaging, as a court would effectively be agreeing with the defendant that (eg) Mr Referee is indeed a match-fixing wanker in the black, and can be referred to as such with impunity for ever more.

I just saw a tweet how the 3rd place team are closer to relegation than Bayern. And obviously it’s being called a farmers league. But did make me think it’s a bit weird German league has never been the best league where as England Spain Italy have. They have the same ingredients with stadium, fan bases, national history. Then it dawned on me must have been the war as most of the great European clubs built their history in the 50s 60s and grew from there, and at that time Germany was still recovering and divided. Then obviously we’ve had likes of Chelsea and City to make ours even stronger. Amazing really a city like Berlin has never had a big team but I guess that was because of circumstance. Just shows how hard it is to build a club heritage.

Could argue the 50+1 rule protects the already existing massive club from competition from an investor like we've seen in England. Even Dortmund who has been brilliant at identifying talent is a selling club.

How long has the 50 + 1 rule been in place ? Aren’t there a couple of exceptions is it Hoffenheim. How does that work either you have a rule or you don’t.

Watching Union/Gladbach. Need Union Berlin to find a winner. Neuhaus is so good. Im going to be pissed if he goes to Liverpool. I'd like him here.

Mad how Hutter did so well with Frankfurt and then almost gets Gladbach relegated in half a season.

Maybe Frankfurt was all a Fredi Bobic masterclass.

Hutter has gone bye bye from Gladbach finally.

Talks of Niko Kovac...
Does well in his first season usually, until players turn on him and his training methods. Good short-term solution, won the Cup with Frankfurt (obviously few trophies with Bayern too).

2nd vs 3rd about to start in Bundesliga. Dortmund really can't drop points if they want to stay within reach of Bayern.

Bochum have just gone 4-1 up against Bayern and it isn’t even half time. Two wonder goals by them, too.
