This Leipzig v Dortmund game is hectic.

No-vax Kimmich was isolating after a close contact, has now caught covid.

Musiala and Gnabry were also isolating and have apparently now had their first dose.

Haaland returns back from an injury spell and he scores within minutes of coming on.

While injured he's seen Norway blow their Euros chances (he missed five games in these qualifiers) and seen Dortmund go out of the CL.

Awful timing for him.

About a month early return for him too.
Yeah he came back for one game after missing the October internationals and that fucked him for another six weeks. Very poor decision by the Dortmund physios and/or coaching staff.

Maybe the physios/coaching staff had no say in it & he's like a certain someone at our club who decides if & when he's fit?

Anyone donating to Jude Bellingham's GoFundMe for the fine he's going to have to pay?

He isnt wrong. Was watching that today & felt the ref was making some very questionable decisions. But even besides that, it’s pretty fucking damning that a match fixer is still considered a qualified ref. What the hell is going on in UEFA? Theres shouldnt be multiple chances in any sport. You fix a result, you should be banned for life. Period.

Fine will be the least of his worries. He needs to expect a very lengthy ban for that despite being correct

Yeh I can't see how you can retain your position after that. In other areas of life if you offend against people you have responsibility for you're struck off, or banned from working in that profession again. Seems really odd that a ref gets convicted of match fixing, but can carry on reffing like nothing happened.

Agree. It's bizarre that he's even in consideration for professional matches let alone one of, if not the, biggest fixture in the calendar. Once you've been implicated in match fixing your position as a ref is completely untenable surely?
