Mayweather v Logan Paul confirmed for 20th February.

Floyd knows exactly where and how to generate money. Hopefully he will put Paul firmly back in his place with an embarrassing battering.

It's an exhibition so will be like a spar..he's not going to hurt the guy. As much as we'd all like him to smash Logan's face to pulp that won't happen.

Dubois has a fractured orbital and nerve damage. He said he couldn't see out of his eye and that clearly wasn't because it had swelled shut. People saying that he's a quitter and should have fought on, are simply morons.

They don't allow you to fight professionally if you are blind in one eye. DDD taking a knee may well have saved his career. In my book that shows intelligence not cowardice.

You could argue it shows bravery as well. The last thing most fighters want to do is quit even when their bodies are literally on the line. I even saw some horizon or something where they tested boxers bodies who had just suffered losses and the brain activity and chemical responses are crazy. It’s like the worst thing in the world losing a fight and it makes sense evolutionary as well, brains are almost hardwired to remember when someone kicks your arse, which is why the majority of fighters will carry on regardless.

Not saying you don’t get boxers with a quitter mindset and for all I know Dubois might’ve done but If his eye injury is as bad as has been said and he’s like most fighters then I think it’s brave what he did. It’s almost easier to just carry on. I doubt he was in much pain at the time what with the Adrenalin and what not.

Anyone else think Pulev has a good chance against Joshua?

I think Joshua will win but I'm not completely confident.

Very much so! Long time out of the ring and Pulev is no mug either, if Joshua is a bit rusty or has taken this in the remotest bit lightly I think he could be in trouble

I think Pulev knows this could be his last chance at a world title being 39 so he'll be going in with nothing to lose and giving it his all and it's this that could make him dangerous.

Having said that, his record isn't that great in terms of who he has beaten, I mean three years ago he could only get a points decision against Kevin Johnson, which was two years after Joshua destroyed him.

Yes his only loss is against Wlad, but his only real notable wins were against Chisora and Hughie Fury so this is a huge step up in opponent ability for Kubrat.

I think Pulev will come forward and try and put pressure on Joshua but AJ will have too much for him and I reckon it'll be a 6-9 round stoppage.

True. I think Pulev in an intelligent fighter and anyone fighting tactically can give Joshua some problems.

Agree, I'm hoping he has learnt massively from his loss to Ruiz and will have a better understanding as to how to beat opponents who fight him tactically.

TBH if he can't beat Pulev, he should probably give it up. Hopefully he smashes him into next week, Pulev's antics at the weigh-in were a bit childish and clearly looked set up or staged.

Should be AJ win by stoppage.

If he fights on the front foot and tries to dominate he'll win easily. If he keeps up his new habit of dropping his left hand and tries to box his way to a points win it will give Pulev every chance to put the pressure on him and it might get trickier.

The hoo-ha at the weigh in was absolutely for promo reasons, one last attempt to get some more ppv buys, nothing more.

How is that guy in the ring with okole. Completely out of his depth.

To be fair he was a short-notice stand in for the original opponent who pulled out. Probably weren't a lot of guys available to fill in but at least Okolie did what was needed.

Surely AJ can afford to throw a few more jabs - Pulev is defending well but he seems to not be keen on returning fire much. If Joshua is trying to provoke him into going on the offensive then he's not wearing the right aftershave to get it done wafting his scent toward him, as I assume he's doing at the moment
