I think Joshua would absolutely blitz both of those two. He could do it now, imo. No point rushing though. If Haye wins his comeback fight, I think he'll take the belts off Fury and then Joshua will take them off him.

Never liked Fury, but good to have a British champion I suppose and I guess he's somewhat of a character.

When everyone was looking for the great white hope I bet they didn't have Tyson 'God botherer. Fury in mind.

Fair play to him but that was in the top three worst heavyeweight championship fights of all time.

Let's hope he keeps the homosexual hating on the downlow a bit now.

Some big potential fights on a domestic level now

I assume fury is contractually obliged to rematch wlad and I assume he would prefer to fight wilder than Haye or AJ as there's another belt to be won

Fair play to fury that is an outstanding victory against

I wouldn't be surprised if the K's didn't put it in the contract. They would have expected this to be a walkover.

Thank god it is out of the hands of the klitschlos. That's is all I can say. Ruined the heavyweight division.

Klitschko to retire?
Nah, Joshua is still some way away from this yet. Haye is the perfect example of rushing a career too much.

Joshua is set to become world champion if he carries on though

I really dislike Tyson Fury and hoped he was going to get trounced tonight. Just shows how weak the division is that someone like him can hold the title.

I look forward to David Haye giving him a pasting.

Totally agree. Joshua is a good year and a half year away imo. Maybe even longer.

But he can be the new Lewis if he does it properly.

Don't really see Haye as a Fraud tbh
I think people brought too much in to the panto that is needed to sell a fight and call him a fraud because he failed

Of course, Fury took that panto too literally and gave us a performance to remember

Worth noting the guy dressed as joker gave Fury more of a fight than Wladmir

I remember fury saying a rematch was in the contract

So unless wlad doesn't want it I think it has to happen

I'd rather it didn't though - pretty horrible fight to watch

Id much rather see him fight wilder and or haye and eventually AJ if he retained his belt

Really don't know if Wlad will go for a rematch, based on tonight he shouldn't...

I think Wilder is the big fight to unite the belts currently. Until Haye has had a fight no idea what he's got left after 3 years out and a shoulder reconstruction. Joshua for me is at least a year away from challenging at the top.

As much as I want to see Fury get a pasting I wanted him to win. I was sick of the K's pretty much rigging the heavyweight scene for soo long.

Lets be honest, rate him or not Fury was the first up and coming either has fought for 5 or 6 years.

Yeah, not a doubt in my mind he will eventually be world champion. I do think he could beat both of those guys, but it's not something he needs to do yet - he needs to keep building experience, and it would be good to see him up against somebody that can hold their own, Whyte apparenty can, but haven't paid him much attention. Embarrassing that Kevin Johnson was billed as a test, though iirc he took Fury the distance.

I just wish they'd put Joshua in with someone who's got the chin to go longer than 3 rounds with him. Really can't judge his credentials until he's faced someone who's not being paid to be mauled.
The French lad who Wilder took 11 rounds to put away. I think he' d be perfect for Joshua. Hard as nails but would be well able to take a shot.

I agree about the brothers having a stranglehold. Tbh I'm still pretty glad that it wasn't Chisora that beat Wlad, but Fury was a pretty close second for 'knobheads I hope get battered in last century'.

I hope they take their time with Joshua and give us a champ that we can be proud of.

I don't think we have to worry about Joshua making many career mistakes. Seems to have a really level head, his attitude is top class. I hope I never get punched in the face by him

You'd think but Joshua just hits so fast and so hard, it's a bit unnatural. Problem is, no-one is going to take that fight because they know that it's not inconceivable that they might well get ktfo. Anyone looking to build a serious career, who's looking like a real prospect, won't go anywhere near him.

I'm pretty sure Joshua is who Fury was aiming his steroid argument at.
