He was

It's very on brand for him to be a ****

What a ****. If I was accused of doing that and I didn’t do it I’d 100% be denying it rather than no commenting it. Such a prick. Just a shame he’s a half decent coach.

He was dragging the players away from saying unlucky to the opposition last night. The guy is a weapon.

Not how I saw it tbh.

Looked to me like some of the Arsenal players were reacting to how the Porto coach and bench were going after Arteta(rightly or wrongly, although probably rightly) and Arteta was pulling them all away to stop it kicking off and seeing his players in trouble.

Near the end of the match Arteta was manic - at one point the Irish commentator said ‘look at Arteta -he is on the line looking as if he is about to tackle the player’ and the co comms lad said ‘he needs to get his kit on’
(Something very similar to that not verbatim)

I’m assuming there must have been another word where it means something different in Spanish 🙄

Guy is genuinely the biggest tool in the league.

The Porto coach has previous for this sort of stuff:

Conceicao has previously had run-ins with Pep Guardiola, who he accused of having “an extremely unpleasant attitude” and of using “ugly words” about Portugal after a Champions League game against Manchester City in 2020.

“I’ve got a lot to learn from Pep Guardiola, in the way he pressures referees, talks to opposition players and the opposition dugout,” he said at the time.

Conceicao also accused the then Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel of “insulting” him after another Champions League tie in 2021.

This Arsenal team might genuinely be the least likeable team in PL history. Everything they do screams ****s.

More dislikable than previous Arsenal teams with the likes of Judas, Vieira and Keown? Or Chelsea teams with John Terry and Ashley Cole, with Mourinho in charge? Not even close IMO.

Maybe not, but at least they won things and backed up the talk. This Arsenal team has done fuck all in the grand scheme.

Maybe I saw it wrong but to me it looked like he was stopping players shaking hands. Might have been one or two arguing….

Not when Klopp is still in post he isn't. It's close though.

Klopp is a bellend (albeit a very good manager) but insulting another coach’s family on the touch line seems like a line he would definitely not cross.
Arteta, on the other hand is a little worm, with few redeeming features.

Well to be fair, Pep does a good job of hiding it but the mask can slip, while Tuchel is an absolute weirdo on every level, so it may just be that Conceicao has had the misfortune of running into some of football's more objectionable characters.

Arteta seems to think he can do what he wants, and to be fair he's usually pretty much standing on the pitch without consequence and the whole 'desgracia' incident was laughable but he got off with it, so maybe he can...

Leading the PL and qualified for the CL quarterfinal.

Headlines appearing such as "Can Arsenal do the double"?

2,5 weeks buildup to their next game at the Etihad.

They have managed to avoid any difficult games in CL and have been repeatedly lucky in the big games in the league.

Plenty of reasons to hope for a three-peat end of the season crumble here.

And we could feasibly only be 5 points off them by the time they play City... Kevin Keegan etc.

It's funny really, they don't act like a fanbase of a club that has won 13 league titles.

I can only imagine what us lot would be like. :smug:
