Arteta on the side line reminds me of a u10 coach, he is constantly trying to organize and keep their heads in the game

Assuming Chelsea don't throw this away by this time next week we could be nine points up on The Woolwich, they are away to Man City

Squad isn't good. Huge contracts for players who aren't in the side. Can't sell them because no one is willing to take on the wages. Not raising funds through sales (except Willock, who they should have kept). Buying expensive squad players and not improving.

This was predictable. A few seasons ago, during the last days of Wenger, you could see they were going to have to re-sign huge earners on the way down or lose them for free along with their older players.

The kids now form the nucleus of the team but they aren't really ready and they are faced with having to spend 50m to replace David Luiz who left for nothing, spending 35m for a player who was on loan last season, stumping up 24m for a back up goalie and patching up the squad where possible. Bellerin still there, Xhaka still there. Is Partey there? Injured again?

Great thing is they spent big money, but other than White who I think they overpaid for still, they haven't improved any.

I expected Chelsea to walk through them, but I was very happy with the Brentford game ?
