They have a tricky run in.

Southampton away and then a string of good teams or teams with everything to play for in a relegation battle.

Lose a couple more games and their heads will drop.

Plus they probably won't have their best keeper playing again this season.

There was a period where they did look like they'd be dragged into the battle but Arteta came in and drew about 6 and won 1 or 2 and that managed to put an end to that dream.

However it does show how far they've fallen and how Arteta has barely given them a lift.

People like to attack Jose but we perilously close to the relegation zone after 12 games and he managed to get us back in the hunt before injuries tallied up.

How bad is it that you change manager TWICE and barely get any real lift?! Even with the firepower they have I would have expected a few wins in that run. But they've hardly done anything.

...and to think, they have to shift loads of players out but this summer there's a lack of money and not a lot of time before the new season begins. If they're unable to make significant changes and they get off to a bad start they are in big trouble.

No Euro football would hurt them v.bad.

No CL will hurt us bad, and I don't think we'll be there next season. Europa is only worthwhile if we can utilize it as a gateway back to the CL; otherwise it'll just be a lot of meaningless fixtures wearing out our better players.

People keep saying this but we challenged Leicester for the title with Europa League.

Chelsea also finished 3rd last season with Europa, despite being poor.

Wolves and United are both in the hunt this year too.

It's certainly a slog but I think you can manage it, you just need to be smart about it . Obviously if you get an injury pile up that'll hurt (and our recent form on that isn't good) but it's not the end of the world if we have to.

The then reigning PL Champions Chelsea finished 10th in 2015/16 (players on strike?) the year Leicester won the PL.
.
No European football and they won the PL championship again in 2016/17 - small price to pay ?

Especially if they lose PEA. I think they’d be better off keeping him and letting him go for a free the following year. They’ve got no money so won’t be able to afford another 20 goal a season striker. If they lose him, where will the goals come from?:ROFLMAO:

Whilst it is amusing watching Arsenal implode. I cant take too much enjoyment out of it due to the fact we are hardly that much better! No wins in 7 now is it?

What a fucking joke. Imagine if that was Alli who'd done it, he'd get a huge ban.
