Has - I'll be watching in the West End as I'm going to see a mate's band straight after. Assume you'll be doing an Aldgate meet but text me if not and you want to come along

Thanks for the invite - I couldn't have made it anyway, hope the band's good. Hope the football is too

This is what being a Tottenham fan is all about mate. It's a rollercoaster of emotions.

This season more than usual....I have been getting depressed big time and I am like if I don't watch or listen to the games I'm quite content on not bothering.....another thing is that I always used to watch a stream/listen tot he radio....

This team has gone to the dogs this season and it aint pretty

My mood has been bad since the start of the seson. Its just supporting a meaningless team, that has a lot potrential but delivers sweet FA .. welcome to the world of supporting the Lillywhites. I have decided to stay away from listening to the game on Sunday, as I know we will get beaten by City ... Its supposed to be Christmas and ah well !

Its hard to keep smiling after watching your team throw another game away with the last kick of the game. I always try to think we're going to lose before the game, so if and when we do I won't feel too bad, unfortunately it never works. Was pissed off till about Tuesday this week at the Burn game. You wait all week to see your team then they get beat and then it just becomes like groundhog day, as each week repeats the one before. But chin up, the worm has too turn COYS...

Whilst having dinner with a few friends yesterday at a Jewish Restaurant (Delicesserie?) they remarked at what a miserable bastard I was yesterday.

I remarked to them that I've been in a bad mood since August, which made them piss themselves laughing. It got me thinking, this is probably the longest mood I've ever been in (I'll be 30 soon).

As soon as there's a ray of hope, something dashes it. Thrash Derby? get trashed in the papers for whoring for a manager. Take a lead? Lose it. Then fall behind. Last minute? Everyone panics and we concede. Player hits form? Player gets injured. Player scores goals, player gets sent off. Get in a respected manager? Immeditely pile the pressure on the DoF.

I've witnessed some depressing seasons e.g. the one under Ossie where we nealry got relegated. The one in the late 80's/early 90s where we set some kind of record for losing home games. Gerry Francis's final season, the Pleat "caretaker" season, etc. But somehow, even though we're still in the cups, this feels like the most soul destroying of them all. Constant speculation about our 2 star players (one apparently wants to leave and the other supposedly a medical mess).

Going to home games this season is nothing like the last 2. There's a nervous air about the place. Even the pubs have a sombre mood, even before we've started.

Going to work, getting sniggered at. It's all too much. The other day, my Croatian girfriend's mate asked me which team I support - when telling her it was Spurs she said to me in a very foreign accent without even the slightest hint of a smile "tough luck".

Anyone else been feeling like utter shit?

Still, you've got to laugh haven't you.

*BUMP*

Just goes to show that in just 2 months things can change completely.

What a drama queen I was.

Bad mood over!

Plus I bet any Croatians you know aren't laughing any more after their main striker for the Euros was somewhat damaged on Saturday.

Glad the boys could cheer you up mate!

haha - fraid i couldn't join you after the game for high jinks. i had to see my folks who don't take kindly to my reeking of booze and chanting about adebayor. although with the central and victoria lines not working i would have had plenty of time to sober up on the buses.
