Not sure Adama solves any of our current issues… when we have several holes to fill I don’t see how this would be a wise move for us

Don't think it's really surprising to be honest. One of those options signs and it's 7 senior players on 3 positions which is ok depth, with Son or even Lucas and Bergwijn being able to play as a striker. And if something bad happens back-up options for back-up as Sess, Scarlett or Lo Celso are ok.

The truth is Kane will play most of PL matches no matter what, and Son is better as a striker than most of potential options

Same. If we had all our main targets, then sure, why not? But we're still in need of a CB/RB/AM/Striker(or goal-scoring WF).

We have issues with getting the ball from back to front effectively because we aren’t playing with a number 8 currently. I guess Adama could just carry the ball forward for us.

People keep mentioning the money, £40m for the most successful ball carrier in the PL, given he essentially carries the "tried and proven" tax of the league really isn't that much in todays market - I do think some people here are still in the early 2010's with their valuations. Ben White goes for £50, Adama for £40mil, given his assets really isn't "that" much with the way of the world nowadays

Did anyone a teapot watch the game yesterday. He absolutely terrorised us - and I felt like his passing and distribution was actually very good.

I read all the chat on here and then watched the full game on match choice expecting to see some Sissoko-style passing - but outside of a missed 1 on 1 and an imbalanced shot over the bar then I struggled to find out what the fuck everyone was talking about.

I saw some really neat lay offs, cut backs and crosses Into dangerous areas. Surely someone can tell him to slow down before he shoots?

he’s a weapon, gets you way up the pitch - corners, high throw ins, and as a few have said playing with clinical players on the same wavelength then Jesus it could be our best signing.

add the fact we play counter system - then I really don’t see the risk

I honestly think it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt.

If you compare the reactions to Romero and Gil relative unknowns then you will see the irrationality of it all.

Traore is proven in the prem and against us time and again.

Some people are picking on his weaknesses to fuel their agenda.

I think we all agree that our biggest needs are creativity in the midfield and a great second striker. Well by shifting Son to striker we'd get the best possible striker option in the world as Kane foil/backup when his ankles give out. And what better way to make your midfielders passing better than giving them the fastest player in football to target passes too. He'd cover up so many holes in our team with his bizzare skillset. I'm all for it.

We complain about Bergwijn not producing enough in terms of goals and assists then we get someone who is just as bad in front of goal. For all his terrorising us yesterday, he had a guilt edge chance he really should have put away and fluffed his lines.

Traore is exciting totally but our issue is we arent taking our chances although we are actually creating a fair few. Just dont see how he will produce the output we need. I do see the benefits of having him as he will create space but i think we already have some of that. Our issue is passing and composure.

I love the fact he'd give the other forwards more space and time as he is almost always double teamed. He'd help the others score more even if he doesn't himself. Plus he could have had at least 2 assists yesterday, his passing on the ground around the box was pretty good.

Proven what though? Goal threat? Assist machine? Defensive stalwart? I mean he's a monster when the balls at his feet, but as soon as it leaves them it seems to be in the stands.

As I said in our ITK chat yesterday...... Based on what I know of him, if I had to mark him I think I'd just move right out of his way and get ready for the inevitable goal kick.
